All rounder yet high performance.
This wireless mouse is plug-and-play, comfortable in the hand, and light to medium weight, making it fast and responsive. It’s perfect for FPS games and can be effortlessly customised with Ghub software. You can customise macros and lighting for different programs or games. The battery lasts around a week and charges quickly.

Expensive but good
Bit pricey but it is a quality gaming mouse. The programmable buttons are plenty and in ergonomic places. Not as light as the pro series but great for long hours of tactical shooters or strategy games. The aesthetic is quite nice also with a full range of RGB. Dpi profiles are a nice touch too. The ability to make the mouse wheel scroll freely is pretty nice when browsing the internet

Used it a week, blown away, a top notch bit of kit.
Best mouse ive ever used. By FAR. Battery is.. hmmmm ... but i can live with that .. Set up is a doddle, feels great in the hand, and the accuracy is spot on.

Fantastic mouse, software has issues
This is by far the best mouse I've ever used. It feels amazing in my hand and glides effortlessly over my mouse mat. I'm using its older wired cousin, the 502 Hero, on my desktop and I'm astonished at the difference between the two. I'm seriously tempted to swap out the Hero for another 502 X Plus Lightspeed. Of course it has the exact same buttons and free spinning scroll wheel as the older 502, and although the mouse is a slightly different shape, I've not felt any difference when swapping between the two except that the 502 X Plus feels, if anything, nicer and more comfortable in my hand. As for why it doesn't get five stars, it is of course the fault of Logitech's G-Hub software. On the one hand, G-Hub does almost everything you'd want - auto-switching profiles for as many games and apps as you want, many of them detected automatically and with annotated command lists. However, it still suffers from randomly stopping, a problem which can often only be fixed by restarting your entire computer. And to add insult to injury, you can't simply copy a profile from the older 502s to the 502 X Plus. That's right, despite having the exact same buttons and features, if you're migrating from an older 502, you have to recreate every profile from scratch. And you can't even compare the profiles side by side while you do it. And if the older 502 isn't plugged in, you can't even see the profiles for it! Profile management, meanwhile, is still extremely janky: you can't delete the original 'default' profile that's created for a new app, and copying over settings like sensitivity from another profile is counter-intuitive to the point that doing so successfully feels like exploiting a bug; if you have more than one profile, you can't set which is to be used by default; and if you're in a game and trying to configure the mouse by alt-tabbing and assigning commands, it will swap back to Desktop mode every single time you alt tab with no easy workaround except setting the profile to persistent (which is done in a completely different part of the app). And of course, there's no support for using the mouse with Linux - it works, but you have to do without G-Hub. Combined with the fact that I've had automatic updates completely break the program to the point of reinstall at least twice in the last year and it's just incredibly frustrating that such a huge company that produces some really genuinely decent products continues to skimp on the software side. Not that it's unusual - just a pity. And enough to dock a star off this otherwise amazing mouse.

A big improvement over the old G502 Lightspeed
Having owned the previous gen, I was a bit sceptical about this mouse, that mouse exhibited double click issues and scroll wheel issues a couple of months in, initially I chalked it up to a conflict in having the dongle plugged in and using a powerplay mat which has the dongle built in, removing the other dongle fixed the issue for a bit. However the double click issue would rear it's head again a year later, then after 2 years scroll wheel issues started and the double click became so bad it was time to change. Because I have the powerplay mat I wanted to give Logitech another chance and heard good things about the new laser switches in this, and I have to say in the near 4 months since I haven't had a single mouse issue. The customisation is nice and the lighting is great, the mouse is mainly matt and not overly textured, so you won't have to spend much effort cleaning it as often without compromising on grip. Worked immediately with the power play mat, has survived many drops (onto carpet) and stays charged on the mat. Otherwise if you don't know the hallmarks of these series of mice, the infinite scroll is a blessing on documents and other applications, side to side scrolling and loads of buttons that you can customise in the Ghub software. Speaking of Ghub, I'm not counting it into my score because the mileage really varies person to person, pc to pc. I've personally not had too many issues with the software, but at the same time I just use the same pastel wave I've been using for years and don't tinker too much in the software, many others have expressed frustration with the software in customization, crashing, incompatibility and resource hogging. But none of these have seemed to been a problem for me or anything that has been ended up being a pretty quick fix. Naturally I'll update this review if anything goes wrong, hoping nothing does and it serves me for a long time like my old G602 (which is still running to this day)

Very impressed
I bought this mouse as a replacement to the Steelseries Rival 650, and I must say that I’m much more impressed with this. Very glad I made the switch to Logitech. Their gear seems to be very affordable and of great quality. The battery life of this mouse is astounding. Charges super fast and holds a charge very well. Barely even notice that it’s got a battery with how infrequently it needs to be charged. I also love how easy and intuitive the software is, making it very convenient to customise the lighting effects and the button mapping. I especially love having the ability to set customised DPI levels that can be switched back and forth via the buttons next to left click, however these buttons can be rebound depending on preference. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase, and I think I’ll be switching all my gear to Logitech.

Consigliatissimo a chi cerca precisione, comfort e prestazioni.
