Really impressed! First off the installation couldn’t be any easier. 10 minutes at most. I used a Velcro strap to tidy up the wires, but that was probably overkill. Looks factory and you can’t see anything from the front seat. I was concerned about how it would work with CarPlay, but that isn’t an issue. I drive my truck as normal with CarPlay automatically syncing, no problems. The camera records automatically, works seamlessly. If I need to review or download any videos it’s simple. I turn off my phone Bluetooth, open the Fitcam app, connect via wifi and get what I need. Quick and easy. The video quality is excellent, I did get an anti glare lens and it does help. Overall I couldn’t be more satisfied. I looked at both Fitcam and Mangoal and quite frankly it was a coin toss. Went with Fitcam and am very pleased with the camera and app functionality.

Fits well and easy install for sure. The app takes a little practice but works well. Looks like factory install and video super sharp. Less expensive than a lot on the market and made for most cars. Support was contacted before purchasing and they are very responsive.

This is one of the coolest products I have purchased in a very long time! I, like probably most people have seen car cam footage with outrageous vehicle accidents and especially the intentional scam accidents with someone pulling in front of the vehicle and jamming on the brakes. My feeling is that I would kick myself in the butt if I was scammed like that with no way to prove my innocence. I first purchased a Fitcamx for a used Mercedes I purchased recently and was so impressed that you can't really tell there is a camera that I decided to pick up one for my F250 Ford truck. Again, complete amazement! Not only is the camera almost invisible, it uses the wiring in the rear view mirror so there was no need to run a wire to a power source. Both units installed with a simple tool they provide and were extremely quick and easy with no need for special skills. Besides coming with a removable memory card, I can access the camera on a very handy app! Price is reasonable considering how customized the camera is! Why buy a generic camera that you stick to the windshield, hang wires and take up a cigarette lighter or USB plug when you can have a permanent solution that is designed for that vehicle and almost impossible to detect? I am also thinking that this design won't make my car a target for theft since the thief would first need to know what to look for and then would want that specific part for that specific vehicle. And they would need to know how to remove it quickly.

This was fairly easy to install and worked great for a couple of months, but at some point it quit working and will not turn back on. We have only had it installed for about 6 months, so this is SUPER disappointing. UPDATE: customer support reached out immediately and got it working again! Great experience getting help!

The product looked great and hooked up easily, but it never powered on. Took every connection about twice and still no power. Contacted customer support twice and never received a reply.

Best dash cam for an F-150 hands down! This looks and functions like an OEM product. The quality of the recording is superb, the clarity is good enough to see license plates in recordings without issue. The fit and finish is the best part about this camera - you can't even tell it is there. My favorite part about the camera is that it hard-wires into the mirror for power, this is far superior to running a wire either to 12v power or to the fuse box. For the price, it is hard to beat this camera.

This was super easy to install and nobody even knows it's there. If you need to access videos, you can remove the card, which works fine. The software however sucks. If you want to connect to it with your phone to edit the settings or quickly download a video it's really bad and I have constant issues connecting to it. It often forgets my settings too so I just gave up on reprogramming it. If you are ok with default settings, and getting videos via the sd card it is perfectly fine.

Love the seamless fit and finish. Looks like OEM hardware and tucks up behind the mirror completely out of sight. Appreciate the easy access to the memory card and upgradability. Only regret is that I didn't buy the version with the rear camera and mount it in our truck shell.
