What is the depth of cut for the 1/8” drill bit?

The bits overall length is 2 3/4 inches. The shank is 1 inch. So if you put the whole shank into the chuck, you will have a 1 3/4 inch cut. You can try to put less of the shank into the chuck and test for wobble.

Hello im needing to drill a 3/8 hole in a mason jar lid. And i have a black n decker drill. Can I use the 3/8 in this set?

Don't see why not, adjust the chuck end of drill to fit the 3/8 bit tighten and drill, or lay lid top side down get a big nail and hammer through.
