The Amazon Basics HDMI Female to Female Coupler Adapter has been extremely useful for my setup. I use it to connect a short HDMI cable to a longer one, and it works perfectly without any signal loss or connection issues. The build quality is solid, the connection is stable, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s a simple but very practical solution if you need to extend your HDMI cables without replacing them. Great value for the price highly recommended!

Work well and perfect fit

This works well if you are looking to extend your Oculus Rift's cables. I have had no problems with it. I did, however, purchase an HDMI repeater for around $11. I would recommend the repeater because it keeps the signal going stronger than just this basic extender does. I will be switching to the repeater when it comes in but if you are really just looking for a cheap option this is a good purchase for a few bucks. I don't know if this extender will work with longer HDMI cables but it works with my 6ft cable.

I previously bought these to extend an HDMI cable coming out of my wall and bought more for another set up. These work great without an degradation in signal or video quality. I have had no issues and the price is right!

My home setup is more complicated than most with devices that us "standard" HDMI, mini HDMI, and micro HDMI connectors. The "regular/standard" HDMI end of the cable would be what plugs into a television or distribution box where the standard, mini, or micro HDMI plugs into the end device. Rather than replacing the HDMI cable from the distribution box to a device each time I need to connect something different I instead plug the single HDMI cable with standard ends on both sides to the cable to the device that has one of these HDMI female/female connectors on it. That way I am hot hunting around for different cords when I need them, I simply move the single cable to the device I need to grab video from. The bonus is while not in use the cable that attaches to the remote device has the HDMI female/female connector AND a HDMI terminator (a.k.a. "dummy plug"). This fools the device into thinking that it is connected to a remote video device and as such will make use of the internal GPU, if there is one, where if no HDMI cable was pugged int the GPU would go unused. It is difficult to explain but it is very handy. Don't need to do any of that? Get a pack of these things to join HDMI cables together to make a single, longer cable when needed. Sometimes with all the different types and brands of connectors and adapters it can be hard to find exactly the one you need at a decent price for a quality item. I have ordered the wrong connector several times in the past because you sometimes have to go through too many listing before you find the right one for your needs. This is a much better alternative to make 2 shorter HDMI cables into a longer one instead of buying a whole new expensive one just for the extra length when you already have a cable you can use with this coupler. Top notch quality and never the first issue or problem. Hook it up and forget about it. Can't go wrong.

Ho acquistato questo adattatore dopo aver fatto l'errore di acquisto di un adattatore a T che mi bloccava certe entrate usb. Arrivato in tempi brevi. Il prodotto è compatto e non crea problemi di connessione trai cavi, anzi sembra abbastanza solido. La confezione di due adattatori dona quella tranquillità in più che se uno si rompe c'è sempre l'altro, ma cose del genere capitano di rado. Lo uso per collegare il chromecast ad un monitor esterno con mini-hdmi (avendo il cavo con hdmi maschio, ho preferito acquistare questo adattatore anziché un nuovo cavo HDMI femmina). Buono. Consigliato, soprattutto per la solidità e il prezzo.
