Added these to a ceiling area for a rock climbing wall. Very happy with the sound quality, especially in consideration of the price. I’ve read other reviews saying mixed things about volume or bass, but in walls are always very dependent on the box you out them in. I have a fairly predominant boost in the 300-400hz range, and that’s absolutely a result of the size of the “box” these are in in that drywall and between the joists. So keep that in mind but they’re loud enough that they have to be lowered to talk to someone, for reference. Can’t beat them at the price. FYI - BOTH speakers must be connected for sound to work. I thought I had a dead amplifier when I first tested the wiring and only connected one speaker. Connecting both they worked perfect. Also - consider an in wall dc converter, mine is behind that access panel. Works great and no wires.

These look really nice. I wired mine in so I don't have to have the adapter hanging in the front. They definitely don't have nearly enough bass but they will get pretty loud it's just all treble.

Mounted these in the ceiling of a nursery at a church wired into PA system so they can still hear the service big hit with Mama's with small children.
