Moyu RS2M

My son is obsessed with this cube! He prefers this cube to others based on the advanced technology which really comes in handy when you try to solve these for hours. The magnetic and adjustment systems help to improve the smoothness in transitions. The brightened color scheme helps in more easily recognizing the colors as you zip through with speed turning the levels until you get the right combo. The positioning system is two speed. The boys are completely entertained for hours and in a very constructive way. Cube solving helps build emotional intelligence, grit, stamina, perseverance, focus, and self esteem. Sometimes, we even set up tournaments on our street. It’s great fun! I highly recommend this cube for children ages 9-12.

I’ve gotten into speed cubing and decided to buy a 2x2 after I bought some 3x3s. It worked great until one of my friends broke a corner :/. I would buy again

Good cube until a corner square broke off. Disappointed.

I bring it to work and play with it all day. I also have a gan 251 m pro.. which feels nicer and smoother but the texture on that gets dirty easier than the rs2m which has the glossier finish.. plus i paid so much more for the gan.. Therefore I prefer to instead carry my rs2m around more.

You can see the "adjustment screws" and actually reach them without needing to take the cube apart in any way. The magnets could be a tiny bit stronger to get a good snap to place. The colors are bright, and the action in turning is quite smooth. This cube moves better & solves faster than a more "budget" version I also own. The display triangle is plastic, and the tools to adjust are included. If you want a 2X2, this is a solid choice.

This Moyu RS2M is an excellent cube, especially for the price! This is the 2022 edition of the RS2M. Straight out of the box this cube is competition quality. I have used its predecessor and several other brands, and this cube did not disappoint. This cube has a wonderful feel, and corner cuts like a dream. The magnets have a great pull, but do not slow down the push. The packaging came with the standard Moyu display stand, and all of the adjustment tools needed (although I did not need any initial adjustments). If you are just getting in to cubing, and can already solve the 3X3 cube, than I highly recommend this 2X2 Moyu RS2M. If you are a parent looking for a cube for your child, this is the perfect starting point.
