Works great!
Works as designed. Good for softball gloves as the larger head helps create a larger pocket. Has good weight to it also.

Worked great.
We bought this to soften my sonโs baseball glove that we just purchased for Christmas. The mallet worked wonders after a few days of working the glove itโs softened and itโs perfect for the baseball season. It is sturdy and made of really nice wood. Very easy to use .
User
Really good product
Lightweight, good product because itโs one piece instead of the two piece that will break. This one has held up through two gloves so far

Mallet made in Heavenโฆ
I used to just try to break in my kids mitts by playing catchโฆwhich was decent for little league, but it was time to get a bit more serious with travel and school ball. This thing has allowed me to break in my sons new A2000 much quicker than normal and also made it possible to do a double hinge which you canโt do just by playing catch.I used some hot water to soften the leather and then went to town with the beatdown mallet! Itโs been working like a charm and you will definitely want one of these mitt break-in. This is a single piece mallet as well, which means it wonโt break in half like others.

Great Mallet!
I hadn't needed to break in a glove in around 20 years. I had always just spent hours throwing a ball into the glove over and over. This mallet makes the process go so much faster! I picked this one since it was turned out of one solid piece wood.

Baseball glove forming mallet
Beautiful wooden tool. Helps mold ball gloves easily. My son and daughter have used it. Also works as a massage tool, but it is wood. Fun at alternative parties. Very thuddy. Is there a softball version? Highly recommend. Will buy again for gifts.
User
Saved my arm from tossing baseballs into a glove over and over again
Does what it needs to do. Saved me from throwing a baseball multiple times into a new glove to break it in.
User
Itโs not bad
Gets the job done but a heavier head would reduce the break-in time.
