Infinity PR6512IS Primus 6.5 Inch 2-Way Multi-Element Speakers

These were perfect as a direct swap for the factory speakers that came with my 2018 Nissan Rogue SV. The sound quality is far and above greater then the speakers originally installed. I didn't want to go pay an installer or go through everything needed to install a component system which would mean running wires, installing a powered amplifier and accessing the stereo to do so. Also, I wasn't interested in "shake the rafters bass". I simply wanted to upgrade my speakers using the OEM stereo that came with the vehicle. These speakers were exactly what I was looking for. There are a lot of videos on line for removing the door panels. That was much easier than anticipated. I did have to drill a few holes, but overall the installation was simple and pretty straight forward. I installed the Infinity Primus Two way multi element in the front and Infinity Kappa full range in back with the extra 3db turned on and I couldn't be happier. I listen to a lot of techno, pop and alternative music and don't like a super heavy bass. With that said, the sound quality is amazing and provides plenty of bass if that's your thing. The mid range tones are rich, the highs are crisp and you can really feel the bass without sounding like the car is coming apart. This is the first time I've ever done a project like this and was relieved at how much easier it was that I thought and super happy with the results. I would highly recommend theses speakers if you're looking to upgrade the speakers in your car.

I bought these for my boat since they are made similar to marine speakers, which if you read how they are made are never actually waterproof. They sound nice - very clear, maybe a little to much treble but I haven't adjusted my stereo yet. They do stick out and the covers are easy to knock off so you will most likely have to screw them in through the speaker cover.

Best bang for your buck. Although when I bought them they were only 40$ for 2 speakers, the price going up I'm sure is because of the amount they are selling. These speakers aren't gonna rock your world, but in my 2020 WRX, they are about tenfold better than the stock speakers, and they are good for 165w which means I can get an amplifier for my radio and they would sounds even better. Infinity is definitely a good speaker brand. Crisp highs, no breaking up even at max volume even though my head unit is a bit underpowered for them, they don't static or nothing. The customer service is incredible, they literally walk you through hooking them up if you have any issues. Had some weird crackling sound coming from the driver door speaker, they had me swap the speaker with another in the car and it still did it, confirminf it was my head unit and not the speakers, turn the bass boost and treble boosting settings off and it fixed that issue. 1 year later, they work amazing. Just can't wait to get a better head unit so they sound even better. Crisp highs, strong mids. The lows are a bit lacking compared to the oval shaped speakers from this same brand, but that is to be expected with circle speakers. Great bang for your buck, reliable. And great warranty.

Just make sure all the small hardware is there. Missing screws can mess up an install.

It comes with plastic rings that are to be mounted first and the speakers mounted in those rings. i didn't use the rings and the so snap on snap on grills or protective covers pop off. They sound fine for the price.

I've tried several different speakers including the JBL GTO, the Powerbass, and the Infinity Primus. I didn't want to go through replacing the factory head unit and amp and run wires so I had to find a 2 ohm speaker for my Volvo. The JBL GTOs were 3 ohm but even that cut my volume available considerably. The Powerbass were ok but not enough punch in the mids. Which is exactly what your 6.5 inch speakers are for. Midrange. And in this case they are coaxial speakers so they also have the tweeter built in. Crisp and clear as you can get from 2 ohm speakers. The best bass you're gonna get from any available 2 ohm 6.5 speakers out there. Just wired them directly in and go. I've put 165 watts X 4 to them and they all have handled it perfectly. Infinity has always come through for me in the past... They didn't let me down this time either..

These definitely have very clear high and mids. After closing up the panels, found it working even better except one of the speakers started buzzing. I didnt over drive them and have done pro sound for many years. I think there is a quality build issue here. It happens so I am exchanging it without any hassels so i am glad its easy to do but a bummer I have to replace them.

Great speakers I replaced the Factory speakers in my MG4 EV with these and they worked brilliantly, not you will need to modify or buy spacers to do the replacement.

Infinity es una muy buena marca de sonido para consumidores normales. Maneja una buena calidad de agudos, medios y bajos. El sonido del auto mejora notablemente. Como recomendación, asegúrense de instalarlas con un profesional. Al inicio me las instaló un conocido y el sonido del auto era peor que el de agencia. Ya con un profesional me explicó como deben instalarse y el sonido mejoró considerablemente
