It’s a youth catcher’s mitt. It has been easy to break in and does the job well for an 11 yr old rec league player. For comp? Probably not as robust as it should be. If you gave this level of mitt, you keep extra string ready for the inevitable string pop. Overall, for quick break in, good padding and compatibility for youth rec league players.

I thought it was a good, affordable 1st base glove that didn't need to work it as the synthetic leather is soft enough to start playing the game with the glove.
