Anewise DC25 Filter for Dyson DC25 Ball Animal Multi Floor Upright Vacuum

These replacement filters fit perfectly. The appearance looks to be the exact same as the oem ones. Easy to install and increased airflow noticably.

We have a Dyson ball DC25 that’s pretty old at this point. Unfortunately the filter inside the ball part broke and made the vacuum unable to roll because it was getting caught on the broken filter. The filter inside the ball is called the “post filter” by Dyson and is $40 on their website. The other filter included in this kit is the “pre filter” which goes into the detachable dust bin and it is about $20. This kit was about $10 and included both of the filters I mentioned. They fit my model perfectly and saved me $50. They’re clearly a bit lower quality than the oem filters, but the oem filters are not $50 better. The vacuum works as good as ever with these filters so I’d definitely recommend them.

These replacement filters work great and fit my Dyson DC25 perfectly without any issues. Installation was quick and easy. My vacuum still had the original filter, and I didn’t realize how clogged it had become over time. I also didn’t realize the filters are washable. I tried washing the original one and couldn’t believe how much dirt was trapped deep between the pleats. After replacing the filters, I immediately noticed a difference. The vacuum has much stronger suction now that the filter isn’t clogged. It’s like having a more powerful machine again. Great value and definitely worth replacing regularly!

Fits perfect

When my 9 year old Dyson DC25 Animal began to make awful noises when rolling, I determined that the post-filter was being pushed out. This occurred after I had cleaned/dried the post filter. I guess this is relatively common for the post filter to be pushed off its clip when the filter is no longer good. I needed a new post filter and decided that I was well past due for a Pre-Motor Filter, so this was a logical kit to order. I am very impressed with the near-OEM nature of these filters. At first glance, they appear to be identical. They both fit perfectly and have restored full function to my vacuum. Unfortunately when the post filter failed I was in the middle of cleaning. In order to continue, I had to remove the post filter door every few minutes, which ultimately lead to the door failing. Luckily, I found a replacement Dyson 915447-06, Purple Post Filter Door Assembly for less than $20 on Amazon. The combination of the replacement filters and replacement door has made my old vacuum just as good as new! Thank you Dyson for making a high quality AND repairable product!
