Good fan.
Added 12” wall fan in small bedroom appx 8’ by 11’ in new fifth wheel trailer. Used existing wall mount for TV we didn’t want, surfacing the metal bracket with wood and painting to coordinate with interior. At first I thought the fan might be a little too much for the space, but it has been working very nicely for us. It is mounted on the wall opposite our bed, blowing toward us from about 10’ away. The mounting hardware is simple and very secure. Our factory ceiling AC unit also has a fan mode, but it blows in a narrow band without circulating air and is much too loud for sleeping. In comparison the oscillating wall fan circulates the air effectively and is not nearly as noisy. Less noisy is not the same as quiet. But we have gotten very comfortable with the sound and on warm nights aren’t bothered by leaving the fan operating all night. In the past we have used a smaller table fan that was actually louder, didn’t oscillate, and took up tabletop space. This 12” fan was the smallest I found with oscillation, which is really nice. It doesn’t come with a remote — only the fans 16” and bigger seem to have that feature. So I took an idea from another reviewer and bought a remotely controlled plug-in that works very well since we always leave the fan set on the lowest speed with oscillation turned on. That prevents wear on the pull chain controls, too. As per other reviews it might be nice to have a lower speed available, but we have gotten very comfortable with the way this fan moves the air. It seems to be well made without any rattling of the blade guard. We think this has been an excellent purchase.

Just what I needed.
1/25/2026: I still use this fan every single day. Still works like a champ, same as when I bought it. Great buy. Update 5/14/2025: I stand by my original review, and I am ordering a 2nd one of these! As the weather warms up, this fan is a cooling force! I have had it in use pretty much every day since purchasing, and it delivers. Still more than happy with this model and happy to be purchasing a second one. p.s. I still have to pull the osc. cord like I mean it, but it's a durable cord and it can take it! Original Post: This fan was purchased to push heat from a wood stove and let me tell you what... it is a workhorse. By far, one of the best fans I've purchased. Initially, when I saw the blades, they appeared flimsy and I didn't think they'd be very powerful, but I stand corrected, this fan is packed with power. The lowest setting is much higher than the highest speed of any other household fan I've ever had. The mounting bracket was easy, two screws and done! The pull cord to activate the fan side works great, the other cord, for oscillation, is a little tough to pull and requires a pull like you mean it.. this perhaps may work itself out with use, but doesn't affect the function and I won't take a star away because of it. Very satisfied with this fan and would purchase another when needed without hesitating.

Great investment in a quality fan!
I was interested in getting a wall mounted fan because we live in a small condo and wanted to save floor space by having a wall mounted fan. We also wanted to save money by not paying for air conditioning, when a fan would do the trick. I did a little research and took the leap in buying this Hurricane brand fan. First of all, the name "Hurricane" is quite apt- this fan moves quite a lot of air, even on the lowest setting. It has an oscillating feature, which further helps to move air around a room. If you want to mount the fan up high, there are pull string cords which can be used to change the fan speed and turn the oscillation on and off. The strings can easily be cut and shortened to whatever length you want them to be. You don't need to use the pull strings to operate the fan though, you can just adjust it with the dial if preferred. Clean up is really easy.I periodically use my cordless hand vacuum to get any external dust from the guards. When dust build up is too much, on the blades, I remove the guards, unscrew the blades, and simply wash them in some in some soapy water in the bathtub. We loved this fan so much that we bought a second one in this model for one of our bedrooms and two more from the company in a different model for other parts of the house. We've had the first one we bought for 3 years now and it's still going strong.

Fan is good, mounting hardware is questionable.
Fan is fine. Moves a lot of air and comes with good control options for a wall mounted fan. Mounting hardware is pretty much junk. The mount is a gravity-style bracket where the fanhooks onto a wall bracket, and two small stabilizer feet on the fan rest against the wall to keep it steady. Simple to install, I suppose, but very cheap. Not the steadiest. And if you were thinking of trying to use this on the ceiling, forget it. The drywall anchors are very cheap material, as is the actual fan blade. The anchors were destroyed almost immediately upon like the 3rd tap with the hammer. Luckily I had other ones of better quality available. The fan blade works suprisingly well, so I guess that's fine, but it's seriously almost like soda bottle material.

Great wall fan
This moves a good amount of air. It isn’t a particularly quiet fan, and I can hear it from the next room, but it isn’t excessively noisy either. About what I would expect for its size and power. The fan is easy to assemble. Also easy to take apart for cleaning. It mounts to a piece of metal you need to screw into the wall. I’ve used this for over a year and recommend it if you need a reasonably priced practical wall fan.

i am ordering more!
I live in maine, I heat with a Wood stove and have no AC in summah. yes we get our weeks of muggy 90s.. and high 80s.. These fans move air! these fans just the 12 inc ones, move a lot of air. These work soo well, i am now gonna purchase 2 more in a set of 2. my suggestion?..buy a set of 2, cheaper and you wont be upset. easy to clean, easy to hang. I mounted mine on a 5X10 inch piece of pine. it allows me to move it anywhere anytime. instead perm mounting. now that i know wherre the good spots are, i will be mounting 2 more and very happy. good name, good price, not cheap. i used these in Thailand, Kores, Japan etc.. its why i have them now.

Nice Fan!
This fan is perfect for my room. I bought the 12" and the size and output are great. When I first turned it on there was a bit of chatter from the fan cover. I got two small pieces of foam double stick tape and put it between the front and back and it fixed the noise. From opening the box to completion of installation it was about 30 minutes. That included gathering tools. Running it on the lowest setting is perfect for the bedroom. This fan would move a lot of air on the highest setting. One thing I noticed after mounting the fan....It's not too loud for me in the room where the fan is located, but I noticed that there is a bit of noise on the opposite side of the wall where it is mounted. For me, that is the bathroom so I don't care too much. But if you were mounting on the opposite of a room that was occupied while the fan was running it could be an issue. I think I would be able to dampen the vibrations on the wall with some thin foam or maybe weatherstripping around the back of the fan.

Good value so far.
I bought this at $57 Can on Prime Day of 27% off. Wall mounted fans seem to be oddly expensive so this one was a welcome exemption. It's a typical cheap desk fan with a wall mounting. The mounting hardware is a simple 2 screw flange with drywall anchors and the fan can be removed by simply lifting it off. The fan is light so the drywall anchor works. 2 things...the blade is cheap and thin and flexible. It functions fine on high. But my experience with this type of soft material blade is that over time, the angle flattens out and airflow drops. A heat gun and bending fixes it when it gets too bad. Second...for some goofy reason, the power cord comes out the top of the console, like it should be plugged into a ceiling plug(?). A little thing but a head scratcher. Overall it's fine. It saves hauling a desk fan in and out of storage. I'm looking forward to winter where I planned on using it to move warm air around from a woodstove in the room. ***** Edit: March 5, 2025. After 7 months it works as planned. Wall mount is great for always being there and taking up no room. On -20C nights, it pushed warm air from the woodstove down to the floor and broke up the cold stratification a basement room can often get. The oscillation covers more of the room more effectively than a ceiling fan. Last summer say no reason to install the window A/C that we sometimes put in on hot stretches. The air movement kept the room feeling comfortable until the cool evening when we open windows. And of course, it's a lot quieter than A/C. Overall, completely happy with it.

great fan that moves air. get it.
easy to assemble. this is the best fan. are you growing? buy this fan. anything over a 2 x 4 tent needs this much air moving around. kiss wpm goodbye after using this fan with proper extraction. low setting is like a 'hurricane'. seriously, if your flower/veg tent is packed, get this fan. i used 1x2s with 45' end cut to accomodate the post, with 3 perpendicular pieces to stop it from pushing throught the tent. 5 minute job with the right tools. get this fan. it moves air. Edit 17/11/22.. the fan is still running. I've cleaned it a few times. It works as good as new.

Beautiful fan !!
I love this so much. I’ve had it for two years now my son sleeps with it on every night even in the winter the quality is great. The noise level is not so loud. I lost the remote control, but it definitely turns on and off properly and doesn’t budge.
