I recently started my own handyman business and didn't want to dig for tools everytime I had a job. I love my Klein cutters. They cut through wire like it's not even there. Smooth as silk and no bending or wiggling. Just clean cuts. I bought these because I'll do electric work once in a while and I'm not worried about it cutting perfect. They cut ok. The blades don't touch in parts so you may need to cut twice. The handles are shorter. This is nice and compact bit, not good for leverage. The do excell at cutting zip ties...if you're looking for that you're in business! For occasional DIY or as a backup they work. Not the best and not the worst. I would say Bob's Burgers said it best, "OK I'll go but I'm going to complain the whole time!

Works great removing electric power chords from recycled light fixtures on my job site. The cutting part of the clippers make removing the chords a simple task. The grips are easy to hold and provide adequate leverage for making through cuts to remove wires and chords. They cut through regular appliance chords like butter; having the correct sharpness to make quick work of the recycling process. I use them daily for repairs and refuse removal and recycling. Recently cut a live wire from a stack of fixtures and was not shocked from electric current. May have something to do with insulation on clippers, gloves or just stupid luck. Made clean, quick cut in wire regardless. Great value for under $15 and fit easily into cargo pants pockets.

I'm 75 and I don't remember the last time I bought a tool, till now. I had two of these, that were unable to cut through a wire or even a zip tie! Time for a new one. I chose this one, on Price first (best I could find) and the thousands of people who bought it before me. They look great, feel solid and cut like they're supposed to.

Let’s be honest, sometimes buying online is hit or miss. I was a little worried when I purchased these because I’ve inadvertently purchased…well, junk before. I was surprised that this was one of those “lucky” purchases where I didn’t have to pretend it was good enough. The price was low enough to take a chance and I’m happy I did. These haven’t deformed or chipped even slightly. Of course it depends on what you’re trying to cut, but using these within reason won’t give you any trouble. They’re sharp, hard enough not to chip, and inexpensive. If you’re on the fence like I was, go for it. I don’t leave that many reviews but these were worth the time to write out a short one. You won’t be disappointed.
