My order came quickly and the miso paste was exactly what I expected.

Very mild miso flavor. Good for mixing in caramel to reduce sweetness and add a unique background flavor. Would have enjoyed a bit more funk and umami but folks loved the caramel as a cupcake filling. Would also benefit from some kind of closable spout.

Delicious. This is delicious miso and every recipe that I have used it in turns out delicious. In my opinion the flavor is mild and sweet umami. I like to make some meal plans ahead of time so that I know I will use it within the recommended time frame after it has been opened. The packaging is convenient, and easy to measure with. I have ordered this multiple times and each time it is shipped intact and comes with a far out expiration date so I can take my time and plan to use it. I will definitely be ordering this again in the future- it is very good!

This miso is wonderful as a marinade or in a salad dressing. It is sweeter and less intense than red miso or the saltier, heavier varieties, so it’s very versatile. I use it mainly as a marinade for meat and tofu, in soups, and as part of salad dressings. It’s got a pleasant mild taste and great fragrance, so I find myself using it all the time. Even just a simple salad of cucumbers and this white miso is delicious. If you want a heavy, bold miso, this is not the product for you, but I find it the most useful of all the misos in my kitchen.

With so many options for this item, the Marufuko miso paste is Delicious! The packaging was perfect, with directions on the back and a visible expiration date. I only wanted a small amount so I just ordered 1 packet. It is a good value for the money and I will buy more of it. Thank you very much.

The best miso paste ever

I needed it for a recipe but once opened you need to use the rest of the miso within a week. Not happy with that
