Great rasp, works well on wood or metal.

Though the item is small, it’s the perfect size to use in the kitchen as a knife sharpener.

This little rasp worked great and did exactly what I bought it for. Worked great on some cured epoxy resin that I needed to trim.

These sharpened both my axes and my machete! just make sure to wear cut proof gloves just in case your hand slips.

This file is fairly small, clocking in a just under eight inches over long, which is fine as I intended to use if for small jobs. A nice feature is that one side is flat and the other is radiused, giving you a bit of versatility along with the four separate cutting faces. That being said, the stippling, especially on the radiused side can make it a bit uncomfortable on the hand during use, so that could be bothersome I suppose. While I am certainly not a file expert, it also seems that the crosshatching of the radiused side is done poorly with what appears to be a long flat spot and several spots where the cuts did not line up as intended, leading to visibly blunted teeth. While that's not what I would consider great QC, the narrow edges of the file were ground at the factory so at least I did not have to worry about any errant burrs.

Works great just what I needed for a great price.
