Meguiar's X3080 Even Coat 5" Microfiber Applicator Pads, 2 Pack

I usually reach for the foam pad to wax my vehicle but this time I forgot I had used my last one. I found these in the bottom of my container. I have had water streaks on the top of my new 2022 Jeep since the day I bought it. I tried several times using the foam pad and the meguiars ultimate liquid wax to remove those pesky hard water streaks. I also tried the highly rated ceramic spray and that was a joke. I didn’t want to run to the store so I was going to give these a shot. I am very impressed. I have found my new go to product. This is not the easiest to use and does require some elbow grease to get those streaks out of black paint. You have to keep the side you are using free of build up or it’s useless. If you find it’s not working then it’s time to find a clean side of the pad. The rest of my vehicle has perfect silver paint and it was a breeze to wax. I didn’t think I would be able to remove those streaks by hand, I thought I was going to have to invest in a polisher. They are easy to wash with the meguiars car wash soap and are ready to use again.

These pads are simply the best out there for applying wax. As another reviewer mentioned, they are basically a foam pad on the inside with a microfiber cloth wrapped around the exterior. This literally gives the best of both worlds! The foam interior gives the pad shape which allows for an even application of wax. The microfiber outside makes sure that you don't scratch your car as you apply it. Also, I've noticed that for liquid waxes in particular, a sponge applicator seems to absorb a lot of the wax into the sponge itself, which is sort of a waste. A rolled up microfiber towel avoids this absorption but it is very unwieldy and it's difficult to apply a smooth and even pressure on. Again, these applicators solves those issues by combining the two. Also, these pads are a nice size, probably about 5 inches in diameter, which allows you to cover a large area very quickly. I find the pads that come with many wax kits to be far too small, which just means more work for you to cover your car. Finally, washing these out is a snap and each applicator is durable enough for many waxes. Get these, you won't regret it!

I initially started with using the Meguiar's micro fiber foam applicator. Those are great, very small and absorbent with even coating. The problem is when you need to do cleaning vs application. For instance when cleaning leather and this is where the EvenCoat applicator comes in. Its much larger than the micro fiber foam applicator, probably twice the size. It has a stronger friction affect that helps in picking up dirt. I use both products and they are solid, no issues so far. Regarding cleaning, I know some people have complained but most reviews show a positive light on using a washing machine. I have a GE Steam Washer, and it has a few "super" clean modes. The ultimate is the "Allergen" mode, its 1.5 hours of 212+ degree steam hell. Both of these products have survived multiple "Allergen" modes, so if it breaks apart for you, its just a defect and you need to contact Meguiar. They have really good customer service.

If you care enough to wax by hand then this is the hand applicator for you, works well and holds its form

The Meguiar's Even Coat Microfiber Applicator Pads are a great tool for polishing/ waxing your car's exterior or for applying leather conditioner to your car's interior. The applicator is basically a foam pad covered in microfiber fabric. Its large size makes it easy to use and provides more coverage than other applicator pads since they are much smaller in overall size, getting the job done much faster! If you want a swirl free finish the Even Coat microfiber applicators are the perfect pads for you! They are much more gentler than traditional soft foam pads and are handy for cleaning leather interiors too! Best part is, they are machine washable and reusable!

I have waxed a lot of cars in my day. I have been doing detail jobs on the side for years and I want to someday do it as a full-time job with my own business. I believe this makes me qualified to make an intelligent review. The thing about applicators is you don't want to use a towel or a foam pad. The towel isn't thick enough, and your hand will press funny in spots and not in others. Foam pads apply even pressure but the texture is weird and unsuitable for a truly good job. Now these pads are foam wrapped in microfiber cloth. They work great and you can wash them over and over again. I pretty much use only Meguiar's products and this is why. They make the best stuff out there.

I found these perfect for the job. I mean, this applicator generates a perfectly even coat of applied product, so even that they should be called EvenCoat. Hey wait a minute... they are called EvenCoat. I even tossed them in the washing machine afterwards and they came out perfectly. My white shirts suffered a bit, but I would still buy this product, or ask for 10 or 20 free samples for User Testing and Feedback if Meguiar's is amenable to my offer. Get these. I mean it.

I use these pads combined with Meguiar's Liquid wax and my car is left with a butter smooth finish and a top quality shine. My car is silver and when I'm done I might as well be looking into a mirror. The pads buff the wax perfectly and evenly. I throw these in the washing machine with my other car cleaning products and have reused them several times.

Ottima, vale i soldi spesi. Morbida e stende bene sia la pasta rimuovigraffi che la cera (anche se per la cera il cosglio è di versarla a gocce, la spugna la assorbe e ne sprechi parecchia altrimenti.

Hatte mir die Kissen zum auftragen der nass Politur auf von maguiar gekauft. Einfach auf dem Schwamm auftragen und auftragen. Danach mit Tücher fertig poliert. Für diese Anwendung sehr gut. Würde es weiterempfehlen. + Verarbeitung Sehr weich Gut in der Hand. - konnte noch nichts finden
