i also received a yellowed hello kitty but i still like the product
I received a yellowed hello kitty that looks like the other photos of their yellowed refresheners. One of my kitties was yellowed and had a darker yellow spot on the back of it which kinda looks gross. To me it is noticable that it is yellowed bc I read previous reviews and took notice of mine. I doubt anyone who is riding in my car is going to analyze it that much - they'll just see the kitty on my mirror and think that's cute probably. I like the scent very much. I wish it was stronger - but I feel that way about literally every air freshener ever. It has a very nice smell and I would repurchase the product in the future. Negatives are it took a long time to arrive and my kitties I received are yellowed. For that reason I rated this as a 2 star giftable item because in my opinion the yellowing does not make this an appropriate item to gift. I still love my fresheners and they match perfectly with the theme of my car which is of course, hello kitty. I have a red 2014 volkswagen beetle, with red HK steering wheel cover, a HK hula dancer with red flower in her hair, and now my strawberry scented air freshener. it all looks very cute in my car.
