Streeterville THERMALOCK™ Desk Mug, 420 ml

I’ve had a few Contigo products now and have genuinely been impressed with them all. This mug in particular I bought for my dad as a gift, after a previous insulated mug failed and started leaking. He uses it literally EVERY DAY IN LIFE, multiple times a day - and it’s still holding up approximately 2 years later! Is it stained with coffee? Yes! Is it a bit scratched with wear and tear? Yes! Does it still do its job and keep his coffee piping hot? Also yes! It’s comfortable to hold, a good decent size, the lid functions well, and it’s just an all round good, sturdy, well-made mug. The colour is true to the picture too. After the amount of use this thing has had, I’d definitely recommend it.

This is the best insulated mugs I have ever bought. It is very stable and keeps drinks hot or cold for several hours. I would highly recommend this mug.

Very pleased with the quality of this mug, great outdoors in winter for keeping your drinks hot. Some discolouration inside even after washing though.

I've been using the Contigo Streeterville desk mug for a couple of weeks now, mostly at my desk and around the house. I pour my coffee in around 8 am, and it's still comfortably hot around noon so it easily holds heat for 4–5 hours. That matches what other reviews have reported about its vacuum insulation keeping drinks hot for hours and cold even longer. The stainless steel handle feels sturdy and makes sipping easier. The base has a rubberized grip that prevents sliding which is a nice touch. The lid isn’t completely leak proof and tilting it can cause a leak, but it’s splash proof at least but this should not be an issuse if used as a desk/office mug as intended. It is all dishwasher safe, so it's low maintenance. And the slider which slides over the sip hole can be removed for easy cleaning. I’ve had no staining issues yet, though I take care to rinse it fairly quickly after use. It holds a good amount, (420 ml), and fits nicely under my single-serve coffee maker which is perfect for refills. That said, it's too wide for a standard car cup holders, so it’s not great if you plan to commute with it. It’s a reliable desk mug. Keeps beverages at a good sipping temp for hours, feels solid, and is easy to clean. Not perfect for travel and can leak if tilted too much but for stationary use, especially at home or in the office (As designed for), it’s spot on.

Nice mug holds 2 cups of tea coffee etc. Very difficult to drink from the opening in the lid its spills down my chin with every careful sip. Does not keep tea hot any longer than 3 hours then quickly cools. Sorry but I cannot recommend this desk mug.

Hubby has a bad shake and this has saved many a spill. Easy to clean and use. Quite durable. Not leak proof if fully tipped upside down. Works ok in use. Easy to drink from.

Superbe mug avec une très bonne isolation. Je dois généralement attendre assez longtemps pour pouvoir boire mon the :))) La base large permet d'éviter de renverser son mug trop souvent. C'est d'ailleurs d'autant plus nécessaire que le bouchon n'est pas très étanche. L'autre problème avec le couvercle c'est qu'il est un peu difficile a enlever. Il ne se visse pas malheureusement. J'ai également remarque que la peinture pouvait s'effriter facilement surtout sous l'anse avec les bagues.
