I’m a little confused. These state that they can be used with a regular 3 x 5 card but the dimensions read 3.5 x 4.5. Is this an error?

So the envelope itself is not 3.5" wide or at least mine is not, it is a little less than 3.5". A 3" x 5" should fit. I made my own and mine are a little wider than 3.25" and they fit.

Can't see how the back is supposed to stick?

It has a cover on the back that you remove and there is adhesive on the card pocket. Just stick it to whatever you want. Works great!

how thick is the envelope/pocket paper in gsm or lb; I want to make sure they are not thin and hope it's at least 100 gsm?

I don't know the exact thickness, but they are not thin. They're rather sturdy and I don't believe they could be easily torn from use. They also adhere well.

Can these pockets be removed without damaging the page it has been stuck to?

No. The adhesive is too strong for that. They are not removable or repositionable.

Durability

Used these as a "wallet" for our class money system. The adhesive on the back really stuck well to their desks... removing them was a completely different story. 🥴 I won't be using them as that again this year, but one thing is for sure... once they are secured, you don't have to worry about it falling off. Definitely a good product.

Pockets ONLY!

This is only the pockets! The pictures show the cards that go in the pockets, but those are not included! They worked well. Stuck them to the inside of some books and some board game boxes.
