Shapenty Stainless Steel Folding Portable Travel Scissors Foldable Paper String Craft Shred Scissors, 4 Pack

Purchased because I am tired of "donating" my emergency scissors to non-EASA/TSA/ICAO complaint airline checkpoints. Well, truth be told - they do have a clause giving them the ability to "confiscate anything within their own judgement" but at this price it is easier just to have my emergency uniform sewing kit on top and let them take the scissors. They are SUPPOSED to be compliant with the TSA, ICAO and EASA but ... there you go!

These little guys are really sharp. I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased these... getting 4 small scissors for less than the cost of a "good" pair at my local craft store. I was shocked with how good they were when I got them. I did a few test cuts on a cardboard box, an elastic, and the hard plastic package that they came in. It cut through all of them with ease. I really like that it can cut through the plastic that many other products come in. All 4 cut perfectly, but only three of them were flawless. One might have been a bent during shipping. When closing it, the handle hits the blade, but it still closes, just not as perfectly as the other three. They opened and closed with just the right amount of tension. Not to hard, not to easy, just right. One thing to note is how to close these. While pinching the blades closed, bring up one of the handles to 90 degrees, then squeeze the handle and blades together to close that side, and finally fold up the remaining handle. I stuck one on my key chain using the little hole at the bottom of the handle, and the others are going into my super small med kits to cut moleskin patches, or even clothes if needed. Are these the best scissors in the world? Of course not! But they are the right size for my use, amazing for the price, and they exceeded my expectations for quality and performance.

Very sharp, folding makes it fairly compact and easy to pack.

Pros: - Nice, compact size - Very sharp -- so far, I have used one pair for cutting yarn and another for cutting paper; both have made clean cuts - Easy to fold / unfold -- my previous TSA-approved-sized travel scissors were VERY difficult to fold - Great value for bulk purchase Cons: - NOT comfortable to use for long periods -- I cut a (reorder form) page out of my 8½" x 11" planner and the cutout / hallowed-out section of the handles dug into my thumb/ trigger finger. (I might attempt to fill the gap with a hot glue gun, to see if it's more user-friendly / comfortable.)

So glad I saw these, they are wonderful, have a pair in my purse, the car, the bathroom and kitchen. Don't take any room and are so handy a lot of the time.

I can't explain just how impressed I am with these little scissors. I'm legit ecstatic about an $8 pack of scissors lol but after owning many different foldable scissors modeled exactly like these these are the top of the bunch by faaar. I've always bought these from places like the dollar store and those always were horrible. You couldn't even cut one sheet of paper without having and advanced degree in scissor mechanics and theory lol. These guys here are GREAT though. Everything the other pairs always did wrong and executed horribly these guys here got all the way right. They are indeed quality made items that do what they say. Cutting a single thin thread from the very top of them all the way to the bottom of the cutting blade? Yes absolutely. I'm just blown away honestly. Years of crappy scissors are behind me. Plus I now have 3 extra pairs as backups and yes they are all the same quality I checked. There are springs assisting opening and closing which is a nice touch. The blades are close enough to have that feel when opening and closing that really good scissors have. That feel you know what I mean. These are fricken awesome! I'm definitely buying more because I always lose them. I'm so happy and like these things so much it hasn't even been an hour since I went and picked them up.

These are perfect! Love the size as fits most anywhere. Can have a pair in all my craft bags & purse. Yes, they are sharp as other people said. Poked myself already opening them. Hence went have 4 stars on ease. They are stiff to open & close causing the tips to poke you if your not very careful. Think that might get better over time of opening & closing. Tried them on paper, paper towel, Amazon cardboard box, thread, thin beading wire. All cut great. Hoping they stay sharp over time. But, at this price I can get more if needed. So happy that I found these as the size & strength are exactly what I've been wanting. No more carrying scissors that poke through my bag & take up room. So far a definite yes! As far as I can tell, a for sure YES would buy again & suggest if your looking for something like this, buy these. 5 stars for sure

OMG great, finally, some tiny sharp scissors. You always need some and don't have any with you, I was done with that. I can put it in my purse and it takes 0 space !!!! It is metal, shiny, SHARP. It is somewhat a challenge to close but nothing crazy. Buy it !

Best and sharp scissors ✂️ for travelling. The scissors steel quality is good and heavy. Also the packaging is very good and sturdy. Worth it.

These scissors were all sharp and each cut perfectly unlike a similar looking brand I ordered from China on Ali which were all dull. Great value for a well constructed useful addition to any household. Perfect addition to a safety kit or as an everyday carry in purse or pocket.
