Accurate description.Exactly what I needed. Well made.

I was searching for some weights to use on delicate fabric while cutting patterns and these were the cheapest weights I could find online for that purpose. Each piece is heavy and holds the pattern paper down well. Nicely made - rounded, smooth edges.

These are perfect as fabric/pattern weights. Heavy enough to prevent stretching, slipping, or distortion, like with the very stretchy waffle knit in the pic. They slide across every fabric I have used them with so far, including very fine charmeuse, tricots, sweater knits, faux fur, etc. Zero snags and I confess, sometimes I slide them off the fabric and don't lift them properly. 50 grams seems to be close to a goldilocks weight for this purpose. Any lighter and you would need a lot more of them. Any heavier and storage might become troublesome. When I am finished I just hang the little hook on my sewing pegboard. I included a pic of them on my cutting mat because the product images can make it hard to visualize the size. Each square on the mat is 1". A few of the weights are a bit tight and harder to remove from the storage tower, but I just keep those at the bottom, as I usually only need a handful of the weights at a time. Even still, they aren't that hard to remove either. Just requires fiddling, and I think they are getting easier to deal with anyway... Might be a bit of a burr in the slot. Regardless, if you are a sewist looking for a simple and affordable solution for fabric weights, these are ideal.

I like the fact that the weights come on a hanger. They are a lot smaller than the picture looks, but they do the job of holding down my patterns and material.

I use this along with a smaller set to get the exact counterweight I need for my kumihimo braids. You can easily add or take weights away to get the precise weight you need. The hook makes it very easy to attach to the braid.
