The light mechanic makes no sense
Update: The Pochfan customer service team reached out very quickly after our original review was published. They provided instruction that there is a memory function with the light, which will store the previous light temperature used. Since it’s not intuitive, it would be helpful for buyers if the product kit mentions this, but in case anyone needs to know how to use the memory function, see below. Turn light on and select the desired color/light temperature. Leave on for 30 seconds. Turn off the light. Wait for 30 seconds. When you turn it on again, it should restore to the color temperature you left it on. The setup and overall look of the fan is good, however the mechanics behind the light function makes absolutely no sense. There are 3 light settings: Bright/Warm/Natural. You have no ability to choose what color you want. It just cycles through the 3 options every time you turn the light off and then back on. No one would ever want this option so I'm honestly not sure what the designer was thinking. It would make more sense to return to the default setting every time you turn it off and on but that's not what happens. This seems intentional and honestly don't understand how this is the case. Also, the fan blades are not level and as other buyers have stated, are difficult to install and balance.

Surprised
It was easy to install. Too easy. No complications with the remote install. It's a whole separate receiver that makes it sooo easy. No noise. I installed it on a slant roof in my mobile home and was so scared it'd wobble bad but no. Just normal minimal wobble. Lights dim as they should. I can pick the temp and choose which one stays. It gives air so much better than my last fan. I'm so happy. It looks sleek. Only point of concern is if it'll last. If it stops working I'll be upset because I really love this thing.

Instructions skip half the NECESSARY steps
I’ve installed dozens of ceiling fans in several houses, I always read instructions because they’re all different. Upon first reading, it looked simple enough. Wrong, don’t be fooled, especially if you’re not familiar with installing fans. So many steps are skipped or unclear (artwork is nearly useless). The order in which steps are made is strange. I had 2 hours invested in this install, which was the only reason it didn’t go back immediately. If you do buy this fan because you like the design, I STRONGLY suggest a complete dry run on a table to ensure you don’t have too many issues. To top it off, when you finally, hopefully, get everything right, they say to press two buttons on the remote within 10 seconds of power-on to “pair” with the fan. Did they ever consider in some locations the outside box is a LONG WAY from the fan? I switched to track shoes, did a trail run, my best time was 22 seconds. I then found a neighbor who while on his iPhone flipped it while I was ready. Of course, the two beeps to confirm the pairing never occurred, but the fan works well, looks OK. My biggest gripe with all the under $500 Chinese-branded fans, even the 6-speed DC motor fans? There’s no really slow speed. They claim this could be used in a bedroom, I doubt it. Low speed is much too fast, fast is blast-off speed. Since it came badly out of balance, even medium speed was very wobbly. Another 30 minutes and I finally had it fairly stable. To overcome the ridiculous speeds, I switched it to winter mode, turning the opposite direction, to make the fan useful without blowing everything in my office away. After I finished I still thought long and hard about returning it, and I still might. My recommendation? Stick to name brands…

Looks good, works good, great support
I purchased 3 POCHFAN units while renovating daughter's condo. She is very happy with how they look and work. The lights were bright enough that I probably didn't need the other lights I replaced. 3 different color tones. Installation was no issue except for one gripe. The units I purchased had 4 inch down rods. I replaced those with 24 inch down rods. The wiring was only good for the 4 inch units. If using longer down rods you need to rewire/extend that wiring. Other fans I have purchased in the past have had extra wiring for longer down rods. Even so I would buy again. A note on support: Finding how to contact POCHFAN is not easy. Nothing in box or on Amazon selling page. You find support by going to POCHFAN manufacturing page (look for "Sold by" under pricing section, NOT the POCHFAN store page). I contacted support to get extra remotes. They were very helpful and I received what I needed. 6 stars for the support group.
