Insane repelling qualities! Easy to apply in tough conditions.
I have no choice but to detail my cars outside in Florida. That's ok in the "winter", when the temperature drops to around 70 degrees, but it's a bigger problem the rest of the year. One of the selling points of the new Gyeon Evo products is that they are formulated so you can apply them outside, unlike nearly all other ceramic coatings. With that in mind, and with all the hype that Gyeon have been receiving lately, I decided I wanted to put Gyeon Syncro on my new car. I chose a weekend when it looked like rain was unlikely, water and new ceramic coatings do not mix, and I started early before the temperature got too high. Gyeon recommend you don't apply the coating above 77 degrees fahrenheit. It was likely already around 80 degrees at 9am when I applied it, but I figured there was probably a little leeway in that number Gyeon provided, and I was under a canopy and not working in direct sunlight on hot panels, which is another big no no, so the conditions were as good as I could make them. The "Mohs", which is the ceramic part of the equation, went on easy. It flashed, or sweated almost instantly, and was easy to level and buff. You can apply the "Skin" an hour after applying the "Mohs". In reality by the time you've finished applying the "Mohs", leveled, buffed and checked for high spots, an hour has passed and you can start applying the "Skin". The "Skin" was super nice to apply, really thick and slick. It's the first coating where I've actually felt like I was applying a skin to the car, so I guess it's very well named. Buffing that off was easy too, and the final result was impressive. I instantly noticed an increased depth of colour, and the car had a mirror like shine. High spots were barely an issue, I had one small high spot on the entire car which leveled easily with a little bit of concerted buffing. Where I was most impressed however, was when I washed the car for the first time, two weeks after application of the coating. When I hit the car with the foam cannon the foam would not stick to the car, at all. It looked like it was literally being repelled from the car. I had to spray so much foam at it it was crazy. I use GSF with a good pressure washer that has a good flow rate. The foam was thick, it just wouldn't stick. I had to use the entire contents of the foam cannon just to get a covering of foam on a smallish car. Very, very impressive. And great water beading. I'd definitely recommend this product, and ideally I'd love to apply it in perfect conditions, because in less than perfect conditions it did a great job.

Highly recommend
The Moes is simple and easy for application, the Skin was not quite as easy. Love the results, though all the results are in the prep process.

Its so purty
I purchased the 30mL kit and I have a VW GTI with white silver metallic paint, which reacts very differently to shade and direct sunlight. Plus its white, which is generally notoriously difficult to get any kind of mirrored polish out of it. Lets get this out of the way first if you're wondering if 30mL is enough for your car. I used every last drop of MOHS in the kit to coat my car - didnt have enough for the wheels or door jambs. Maybe it was my climate - humid when I applied and 85 degrees F. Never had that problem with the SKIN and I applied the SKIN very thick. I have about 1/3 of the SKIN left in the bottle. When I use this again, I'll buy the 50mL kit, and you probably should just buy the 50mL too, if you're at all worried about coverage. And I definitely will use this again. I went through all of the necessary prep - strip wash, claying, decon, strip wash, polished, prep wiped, and then applied Syncro. For info, I used CARPRO Descale, an Adam's clay bar with Chemical Guys lube, CARPRO IronX, CARPRO Reflect polish applied with an Adam's DA buffer using CARPRO Gloss pads (PU125), and then prepped with GYEON Prep. Now, this is the easiest coating I have ever applied to any car. It wipes on easily with the provided applicator. The MOHS began sweating almost instantly after application and was an easy level and buff. At first it won't feel very frictionless but give it a second...... and as it begins to start its curing process you can feel the friction dropping. The SKIN went on directly after - by the time you're done with the MOHS, an hour will have easily passed. I layered it thicker than the MOHS and still had a lot left over. I waited two hours then applied GYEON Cure to give the Syncro kit every chance to properly harden over the next week without rain or dirt interfering. Wow does it look great. The last kit I used (an expensive graphene oxide brand) wasn't anywhere near this glossy or shiny (nor did it last very long), but it was a lot slicker a day after application. Thats just the nature of graphene coatings though. This blows it out of the water for looks, period. Time will tell how long it lasts. Would highly recommend this product based on ease of application alone. Many reviews show this coat as performing excellent after hard road use and 12 months, so I have every hope that it will be effective for at least that amount of time.
