Strip-E-Doo Emulsion Remover (Quart)

What I didn't know when I bought it is that this stuff only lasts 6-9 months from the date of manufacture, not when you open it, then it won't dissolve the emulsion any more. Not really the fault of the product, all emulsion stripper is like this. It's made from SMP (sodium metaperiodate) powder and once you mix that with water the clock starts ticking. You're better off buying SMP in powder form and mixing it as you need it. In it's powder state it lasts forever. You can get it from most screen print stores and while it costs more to buy a pound of the powder it will make 15 gallons of stripper and in the long run is a fraction of the cost of buying pre-mixed.

Works as advertised! I use water based inks in a basement hobbyist shop, and this works way better than the ecotex remover i had purchased before. The higher viscosity makes it easier to spread on a screen (using dish gloves), and my spray nozzle clears it out with house pressure. Will order again!

Priced competitively (Better) compared to Ecotex and in my opinion works better. Spray on lightly amd gently scrub with an appropriate scrubber. Hosed right off with a power washer with gentle tip. I also tried with strong water hose and emulsion still came off easily. Great product.

This product works great it cleaned some really tough to clean screens that’s other products couldn’t clean first I apply the product then I scrub the product in with a brush and let it sit for about 10 minutes if you leave it on for too long it won’t work
