After some very hard use for the past 4 years, I replaced this seal. The seal fit perfectly & was easy to install. I can't say enough about my Dyson Vacuum. It is very powerful and well-built. It is a workhorse. I use it almost daily on my hard surface floors. It picks up the debris around my wood stove. I used it on a friend's boat that had not been cleaned in years. I vacuumed up 4 cansiters pine needles. Great product!!

Great replacement kit for a vacuum part I feel was poorly designed, or at the very least poorly explained in model documentation. Knowing that you shouldn't pull dust bin completely off of body would be useful information. This item was the perfect repair, and the addition of the small screwdriver made the job quick and easy.

Great replacement and easy to install

I have two Dyson V11s, one I bought new and one I bought for parts to fix the new one. However, with the replacement items from China and battery from Dyson, I now have two perfectly functional Dyson V11s. Both bins decided that the bin sealing ring needed to "give up the ghost". I thought I might need new bins or buy used ones from eBay. I decided to check on Amazon and found these they have replacements for the broken parts. I ordered two and they came the next day. They come with the magnetic tipped torx driver and torx screw that looks like the factory one. They both popped in pretty easily and make a perfect seal. Installation notes: 1. When removing the broken seal after removing the screw gently squeeze the two sides so that the tab lifts slightly for easier removal. Be careful not to squeeze the top as you can crack the bin when you pull out the old seal. 2. Line up the tabs so that it is not offset to the side otherwise it won't seal all the way. 3. After installing new one, double check that the tabs have popped in and there is no gap between the outside of the seal and the bin. Other items for Dyson cordless vac owners are the trigger replacements with reinforcement as both have broken on mine. Trigger clamp that you slide on to hold down the trigger, so that you don't have to tire out your finger. Get replacement batteries only from Dyson. I have tried two Chinese ones and both I returned as they didn't charge properly. It wasn't worth burning my house down from a bad battery management system. With all of these items you will be able to use your vac for years. Get extra filters too so that one can dry after cleaning.

When emptying out my less than 1 year old V15, a red ring fell out. I didn't know what that was so I turned to a web search and came up on a video that explained that this piece can fall out and when it does, you need to replace it. Well, I naturally searched here and came upon this with decent reviews and cost. It arrived in a few days (it was not 2 days), by then my floors were getting furry (one dog that sheds like a freaking monster), so I immediately cracked open the package and watched another video on what I needed to do to install (there wasn't instructions in the package). After struggling for a couple of minutes, I got it done! My vacuum now works perfectly!
