I purchased these to attach to a clipboard that people use for signing residents in and out of their senior home. I was concerned about the quality of the pens based on the reviews and I was prepared to have to purchase new pens. However, it appears they will be just fine to start with. They write smoothly and so far I haven't noticed any skipping. The pens do look cheap, but knowing that they can be replaced with other pens is reassuring. I haven't had them long enough to be able to say how long the ink lasts. The product lost one star because there are no directions. I had to have my engineer husband help me figure it out. Not everyone is intuitive with these types of attachments. It even took him a bit to figure out the best way to attach the pen to the lanyard. Overall, a good product if you are looking to keep a pen attached to a clipboard

I purchased this because I could never find a pen near my hanging wall calendar works perfectly, and I found lots of other uses for these lanyards, great quality and good length

Love it. Pro - durable, strong, lightweight. Con - the pens are garbage, very poor quality. I needed just one cord and you get 5 each for the silicone ring (pen holder) and 5 metal carabiner. (Remember - the pens are worthless). Highly recommended, great quality. I’m very happy with my purchase.

First off it came on time, with no missing parts or broken items. Now for the description: I purchased this to use with my clip board when I have my students in clinical and not lose. The pens that come with it are extremely cheap, so that is a waste, because I refuse/cannot use them. The pen holders have different sizes so that is a nice detail to fit multiple types of ink pens or pencils. The cords are too long, they stretch pretty far, but if you do not place the pen in your pocket, the cord flops everywhere. It is too long a bungee cord if you are planning to use it on a clip board you carry. It will work if it is stationary such as a clipboard hung on a nail in a wall, as it will stretch a long distance and distance is not really important in that case. I am a little dismayed with the order but I kept it anyway, although I would not purchase again.

I am a special education teacher and we have all sorts of clip boards with different purposes throughout the room. I can not tell you how often I waste time looking for a pen. My class is color coded, and these pen leashes were perfect. I missed that the pens came with the set, so it was a bonus upon arrival. I love the the rubber loops to hold the pens are supplied in 3 sizes in case you are using pens/pencils of a different size. These are such time savers in my preschool room. If I end up adding more clipboards for other needs... I will be buying more!
