Will the flame go down to a hot little precise point for jewelry work?

Yes, it will. You can really fine tune the flame on this tool.

Can i use regularly to braze copper tubing

Maybe, if you already have experience using a similar torch with the proper solder. This didn't work for me as the metals I was joining are too small to use a torch with. I wouldn't use this with any small copper items. Even copper fuel lines may be too small. I eventually used a soldering iron and sent the torch back. I suspect that there are better plumber welding tools available for copper tubing brazing. I hope this helps.
