I bought this mattress protector as a more budget-friendly alternative to a bamboo one, mainly because we needed several protectors in rotation due to increased washing with a baby in the house. For that purpose, it’s been a sensible and practical buy. It does what you want a basic waterproof protector to do. It fits the mattress well, stays in place, and provides reliable protection from leaks and spills during night feeds and nappy changes. Once it’s on and covered with a fitted sheet, it’s perfectly comfortable for everyday use, even if it doesn’t have the same soft, premium feel you get from bamboo-based options. Noise levels are reasonable. It’s not completely silent, but it’s far from the worst - there’s a slight rustle when moving around, though nothing that’s woken us up or felt distracting. Given the price point, that feels like a fair trade-off. It’s also held up well in the wash so far. We’ve washed it frequently at standard temperatures and it’s kept its shape, with no obvious shrinking or deterioration. That’s been important as it’s been through the machine far more often than a typical mattress protector would. These have been a life saver for us whilst potty training my toddler! The single size is a perfect fit for my corner sofas and they don’t leak when he has an accident and saves a lot of hard work having to strip sofa cushions off then trying to Get them dry! I ordered 4 lots so if he has an accident then I can wash the one his had an accident on and put a fresh one on in place! The Terry toweling material is good quality and it doesn’t make a noise when you sit on them! They stay in place all day (unless his had an accident and need to strip one off) Would 100% definitely recommend & will be using them when he is finally ready to not wear nappy’s at bedtime as a protection for his bed!

If you are buying a mattress protector and your main worry is whether it will make the bed feel noisy or uncomfortable, this one does not. That is the thing I care about most with protectors. It fits a single mattress neatly, the deep skirt helps it stay put, and the terry top feels much more like normal bedding than plastic. It gives that bit of reassurance that the mattress is protected, but it does not make the bed feel like a hospital bed or a temporary cover. My tip would be to pull the corners down properly before putting the sheet over it, because that keeps everything flat and tidy. Simple, practical and exactly what I wanted. Five stars.

Fantastic, not noisy, soft and it wothstood a massive bed wetting overnight with no dampness going through to mattress. Will buy another.

The is good but not 100% water proof. My 4 year old occasionally has accidents and it still went through to the mattras ever so slightly damp. Still had to scrub. Would recommend putting two on.
