Best there is...
I use nitrogen for HVAC installs and my excavator hammer needs 580psi charging from time to time. This is the only regulator I could find that can reliably handle the higher pressures. Buy once, cry once, simple as that.

This regulator is very well made, you can feel the strength and sturdiness, heavy duty for sure, easy to work with, love the multiple functions of it.

Damn good tool
Would use a victor over the western enterprise regulator any day. Being able to fine tune your lower pressures for brazing is perfect.

Bad batch?
Slow fill. Goes to pressure.. but slowly.. very slow.. could have gotten a bad one idk. Ive had this brand before and it performed well..

Precision in adjustments
Very precise valve control. I had an older Victor regulator and it was popping in noises, and the needle swung around did a 360 , so it was blown. It had a 200 psi scale only, and i used it for R22 work years ago. Recently I bought an R32 mini split, a 24k ACiQ heat pump, and i wanted something to hit mid 400 for a pressure test, so I ran it to 460 on the 3 zone heat pump. This regulator is nice if you needed to braze, it has a nuanced flow at the low end.

Very precise control on the low end so your not over pressurizing while brazing. Unlike the cheaper options that have fixed settings for brazing\pressurizing

Not suitable for UK cylinders
A note for anyone in the UK, the US uses a different thread for their nitrogen bottles. The US uses CGA-580 which is 5/8" UNF, while the UK uses 5/8" BSP.
