I’m in the process of closing our pool for the winter and decided to give this pool sand filter cleaner a try. I’ve used their competitor’s brand, In The Swim, sand filter cleaner many times, basically every time I’ve backwashed our pool this season. However, the most I’ve seen our pool filter psi drop with that brand’s cleaner was about 1 1/2 psi - from 19 1/2 back to the typical 18 psi. This was my first time trying this brand, which was also a couple of bucks less than In The Swim’s at the time of purchase. And wow, I’m so glad I tried this brand today. I didn’t even used the entire quart. I only used about 2/3 of the bottle. After backwashing the pool until the sight glass was clear, I poured in the cleaner through the filter basket and let the cleaner sit in the filter for exactly 3 hours. Then I backwashed and rinsed the filter again. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the psi at 16, which I had not seen since the pool was built and first opened 3 summers ago. I highly recommend this pool filter cleaner solution. This will be my go-to brand from here on.

Easy and effective! I was using a spray filter cleaner, and it was miserable to use. This soak is highly effective and did a great job! I weighed the filter with a little brick and walked away! Came back after the prescribed time period, sprayed with the hose nozzle. Came out so clean my husband thought it was a new filter. 👍 No struggling to breathe fresh air while staying upwind! This product and the soaking is a huge improvement over that! I’m very pleased with this purchase and am back to reorder as I’m almost out!

Very good for cleaning the oils and such that are caught in a filter. Be sure to get it all washed out, or you will get foam in your tub.

Does a good job on cleaning hottub filters. Does not help with any soil/stains on filters but gets the gunk out. Instructions are in super tiny print so just have to guess to how much to use and how often. I got about 3 cleaning sessions from from this bottle for two of the larger sized filters.

This filter cleaner works great.

I have a hot spring grande spa with five filters. I started using this filter cleaner and it works great. I let each filter soak for about 30 minutes and then I hose them off. It’s amazing how clean they are. I will definitely buy more of this stuff. It sure does beat using that spray.
