I don't actually fish, which is what I think these are meant for. I needed something to protect my thumb and forefinger at work - I have to handle a lot of metal and my skin was getting worn on those two fingers. Ordered this baby and I'm all set! I don't wear it constantly, but it's quite comfortable and does exactly what I wanted. Can't go wrong with the price, likely to order a few more for extras as I expect it will wear out eventually with my particular use.

I use this when I cut my index finger and needed something to protect it while I was golfing. Great protection for the cut and pain and also added extra grip on the club. It's comfortable and easy to wear. Velcro holds well and does not make you sweat.

I really like this glove, I use it for my job where I'm constantly grabbing hangers, but it's only one size and very quickly started to fray because the strap is too long for my hand. Nice glove, wish it came in a smaller size.

I've tried taping and work gloves and they're just okay. The water loosens the tape after 15ish pulls and the gloves lasts about 100 pulls before needing to tape the wear marks. So far, I've pulled about 100 times and there doesnt seem to be any wear. The 2 finger design also allows for more dexterity with my remaining digits. This means faster to setup and release the dart. CARP BEWARE!! Totally worth the price and delivery was fast!

No option for left or right hand. Expected item was reversible but not so, only works for right hand. On left hand the soft side faces the fishing line. Update. Used the glove on my left hand which leaves the thumb on the back of my hand. Tucked the thumb under the Velcro closure, and used it as just a finger protector, which is all I really need when casting with a spinning reel with braided line. Worked well, so I change my rating to 4.

I got a few of these to meet my needs at work. I've been pleasantly surprised with the comfortability and the duration of heavy use before the product breaks down and starts getting holes.
