The women's arena Icons Fly Back Solid swimming costume from the arena Performance line is extremely durable and chlorine-resistant, adequate for competitive and regular swimmers who go to the pool frequently. The 100% chlorine-resistant MaxLife fabric with integrated UPF 50+ UV protection offers extremely fast drying and long-lasting durability. It is the evolution of the MaxLife arena fabric and contains at least 50 per cent recycled polyester from PET bottles. In addition, the production process has been optimised to save energy and minimise CO² emissions and water waste. The uncovered back, thin straps and high leg length offer maximum freedom of movement, adequate water perception and less friction. The trendy design features the iconic Team band and vintage logo to celebrate arena's long tradition. Every component of the fabrics bearing the STANDARD 100 label from OEKO-TEX has been tested for harmful substances and found to be safe for human health. The test is conducted by independent OEKO-TEX partner institutes and certifies a wide range of criteria. Review: Well-fitting technicolour whizz - I remember this design from the 1970s. I always wanted one then and now I have two! I liked the red one I bought so much that I went on to buy the navy. I love the vivid red trim on the navy: it's glorious and a great contrast. I love the low back, and the high cut of the legs at the back makes my legs feel free in the water. On the other hand the horizontal bottom edge of the white panels at the front means the leg cut is not too high there and affords a bit of modesty, which is a relief. The shoulder straps are very comfy and a backing appears to be bonded to the reverse of the front of the costume, which means it's not see-through, which is also a relief. I wasn't sure how Arena size 34 would fit me but it fits just as well as Speedo 34, which is my usual brand. I'm super happy and I had a great swim in my new navy costume today.
