This is exactly as it is described and pictured. Great hammer and it does not leave marks on your work. Perfect balance and weight.

As nice as described
I had a old Stanley dead blow hammer that I bought 20 years ago while in tool and die apprenticeship. Eventually it followed me home and I guess after all those years the atoms started to deteriorate because it just came apart. So I decided to splurge and go all out. This hammer is as balanced and comfortable in hand as everyone says. It's not a hard plastic like my old Stanley, or is it rubber like the cheap black ones that leave marks on everything. It's more like a type of silicone. Whatever it's made of it is the nicest dead blow hammer I've ever owned.

Does what you'd expect
There is nothing overly flashy about this hammer, but it's built tough and does its job well. It is also the best brand and you can't usually find it in stores, so I'd recommend it if a sand like filled mallet is what your looking for. Feels a bit expensive but overall great mallet. I'd say because of the comfort and style it's worth it.

Good product but NOT USA MADE!
Nice dead blow hammer, however the material will chip off if you hit the edge of steel. I imagine all makes will do that! I bought this at it's higher price because, after all it's an American company, but discovered when it arrived that it's made in Taiwan. Major disappointment, had I know beforehand I would have saved money and bought the off brand which states what country it's made. With that said I will continue to use it and I expect it do do the job as intended for a long time.

Good dead blow
Great durable dead blow. Last one I had grew legs and walked off the job site, so I bought another.
