Very nice heavyweight silverware set that looks great even after many trips through the dishwasher.

The black modern silverware set I purchased exceeded my expectations in both style and quality. I love this set. I've had them for a few months and they've maintained well. I will say the black is fading on a few utensils but that is most likely from excessive dishwasher runs. (Teens forget how to handwash dishes when you get a new dishwasher). Only a couple of of forks had the issue. The design is unbiased though. They're holding up very well in a family of 6.

Each bite feels like a little funeral for my self-control. Plus, my mother-in-law finally stopped asking when I’m going to “grow up” and buy “normal” flatware. She hasn’t been back since, so that’s a bonus star right there. In short, this set is deadly elegant, morbidly stylish, and killer functional. If you’re looking to put the “fun” back in “funeral” — at least in your dining room — these are the utensils for you.

I ordered the Retro Royal set for 4 (HT-20Piece-Silver). Here are my unboxing impressions. The pieces came held together with a small, clear rubber band. Each type of piece was in its own stack, and every piece was individually wrapped in plastic. They all look shiny and perfect with no scratches. I could feel no obvious burrs on the metal. My one complaint, for which this item lost a star, was the extremely light weight of the pieces (with the exception of the overly large soup spoons). I've held plastic utensils that had more weight than the salad forks in this set. After the set gets some use and washings, I'll update this review.

I love this set, I've had mine for years now, the design is super cute. It's held up. The black finish has worn on the spoons and knifes as I've washed them, I hand wash so this could be why. If you're weird about spoon sizes the small spoon and fork are in the category of safe lol. I'd definitely buy them again.

These are really cool and durable. That said the quality of the paint is sadly low and im concerned about the safety as well.. within 2 washes following the instructions the paint was coming off.. now im worried about paint in the food and im not sure if i should be eating with them anymore..

Très, très belle qualité! J'adore le poids et la forme des ustensiles. Le dessin est imprimé à la perfection sur chaque ustensile. Ca fait sensation auprès de mes amis et de ma famille. Remplace carrément mes anciens ustensiles, je les utilise donc tous les jours. Je recommande fortement !

The package contained only 5 pieces instead of 20. The product itself feels like very cheap, generic, low-quality junk and does not match the quality I was expecting. I had to contact Amazon support to resolve the issue, and only after escalating it was I able to receive a full refund, including reimbursement for the return shipping costs. Overall, this was a complete waste of time. I would not recommend this product.

Really cool silverware, the design on the handles is really clear, you see the skulls and flowers perfectly, they seem to be really tough, does not scratch or does not become faded easily.
