Thes are absolutely essential when you have a garden full of pots, a thin layer in the bottom third of the soil, more soil and plant on the top and, hey presto, once you have watered very well, the gel absorbs the water and slowly releases the moisture as the plant needs it. I went away for a week in a dry spell and on my return, the plants were still thriving. This brand was also the best value for money.

Good but expensive for the amount you get.

I like this product. It keeps the plant roots moist, even in very hot weather. I also find I don’t have to water quite as much.

Miracle grow is a great product. Has made a plants and shrubs florist. Value for the money.

Mixed into my hanging baskets and tubs was great as gave them a really good water before I went away and it was really warm for 3 days and plants were still OK when I came home just needed a good water again .
