Mine seems to be defective. The cork top came apart first thing, like the handle slipped right out of it; and the glass spout seems to have been miss-shaped. It spills out unevenly when poured, so it's really tricky not having it splatter on the counter. I HATE having to hassle with returns and besides my husband threw out the packaging already. It's an awesome concept and indeed brews faster than most pour-overs and keeps the coffee nice and hot. Just wish our's didn't have these little issues.

I use it every day. The hemp mesh filter is easy to rinse, and works better if its still wet. The vase keeps coffee hot for hours with the cork lid on it. If you've been looking to up your morning coffee game, this is the way to go. Its a noticeable upgrade over using a French press.

Love, Love, Love this coffee maker -- first in my opinion pour over is the best brewing method just brings out every nuisance of the coffee. Second what an awesome stylish design -- functional durable for glass ( I am not always gentle on things) and this carafe has been dinged without breakage or chipping.

Awesome. Loving this coffee maker. The coffee comes out great and stays hot three times as long as it would in a standard chemex. I originally received a defective unit but the guys who run this small company responded to my complaint immediately and I had a replacement in two days. Awesome customer service. Great coffee. Sweet design. Very happy.

Love the pure coffee taste. I use freshly dark roasted coffee and grind it immediately prior to making the coffee. Another purchaser suggested warming up the pot with hot water first to keep the coffee hot longer and that method does work. Highly recommend if you like excellent coffee

Very attractive and a joy to use. I use it more often than my Chemex which surprises me. I do not use the filter basket though. I just put a Chemex filter in it. Works fine.

I love this! Follow instructions on how to pour and it really makes a difference in the taste of coffee. The bitterness is gone. It seems like I taste a plastic taste with most drip coffee makers but that's totally gone with this system.
