Was trying to figure out a way to install a dishwasher in a new kitchen - after the plumbing was complete - not knowing from the beginning a dishwasher would be installed. I thought I'd have to cut the hot water line and splice in a valve and tee. This made the install extremely easy! Removed the 3/8" line to the faucet and installed this valve - connected the 3/8" line to the top and the dishwasher line to the aux. valve - worked like a charmed. Seems well built with smooth 1/4 turn action and fit and finish was equivalent to the double priced brand name valve. Good value and hopefully it will last.
