This is my new travel companion! I use a CPap and I am always looking for water with no salt, and most bottled water has added things for taste! No more trips to the store as usual! The sink water works perfect thru this! No hassle ! No danger of bad water near your brain!

Great item to have for emergency storage, or for just camping. I like the idea of not having to pack gallons of water with me when I go camping, being sure to camp near water of course

Neat filter ecosystem with multiple sizes of bags and other attachments. When I bought it I didn't realize that the filter can also be screwed onto most standard 1L or 1.5L water bottles, which a huge plus if you want to use something disposable to store unfiltered water and save the 3L storage bag for filtered/clean water.

Filters great, large capacity, and quick. Hose plugged right into the QD on my water bladder. Minus one star because it is hard to fill in slow moving water. I had to cut a corner from a gallon zip lock bag, fill that with water, and use that to fill the bladder. Overall, very useful.

Life straw is a good company I enjoy many of their products. The bag is nice for using around camp or refilling your camelback from a stream

Live in Alaska and use these on every hunting and fishing trip. Eliminates the need to haul water and this Brand, Life Straw has NEVER failed us. When you are on a Fly Out hunting or fishing trip you don't have to worry about having quality, safe water to drink. We have small 1 ltr for each person and the Mission 5 and 12 ltr systems for camp. Never had a problem. Best money you could ever spend.

I took this as our groups primary water filter on a fishing trip to Canada. The lake we stayed at was a cedar lake and had dark reddish colored water. Our group of 4 drank safely from the filtered lake water. Although it is unlikely there were many contaminants in the lake water, we did not want to chance it and ruin our fishing trip. It easily was filled a few times a day and just hang around doing its thing! The filtered water still had a slight color tint to it but tasted great. Saved us lots of weight flying into the camp. Make sure to read the instructions on proper cleaning/storing the filter unit. Even if you don't store/clean properly the filter itself can be replaced easily. Seems like a durable piece of equipment.

Used this on a recent 7 day canoe trip and found it very good. It packs down small and light, which is great for backcountry canoe tripping. There was a bit of a rubbery taste after the first and second run-throughs as some have noted, but that disappeared quickly for us. It was slowing down by day 3 or 4, but we backwashed (easy to do) and it sped up again. If the reservoir is filled very full it goes faster. It must have gotten downwind of some campfire smoke toward end of trip and it picked up a bit of smokey flavour. I anticipate that will clear with a few runs-through. Pleased with purchase.

Easy to replace

Used it for the first time this past weekend at a campground with a boil water notice. Tried some of the water and no ill effects recorded in the past 48 hours. Simple to set up and easy to use. Would recommend
