Best All Rounder
Still by far the best in it's category. From the extended talk time bundled with the charging case, to the smart sensor features, multi-device pairing and sleek design. I've grown to like PLT since I ought my first PLT device, the Discovery 925 in 2010, which featured the same design and features such as voice calling. The 3240 is a descendant of the 925, just with better features and functionality. The Edge was a great improvement on the 925, and functioned beautifully with my Blackerry Q10. Transfers audio seamlessly between device and headset when removed from ear, and excellent battery life making it through the whole day on single charge (even though it was always paired to 2 devices when on), all the time without the PLT Hub app. It started to act funny when I switched to android, and I could not enjoy the same battery life as with the BB. The 3240 is a majorly a software improvement on the Edge, with advances in the hardware technology. So far it boasts the longest battery life among both predecessors. To sum it up, the features worth buying a PLT for are, noise cancellation (even when driving with the windows open on highways, you can't tell if you're on the other line where I was), smart sensors and voice commands make it so easy to answer/decline/make calls, NFC pairing (big fan of NFC tech). Wind noise reduction is the 3240's only weakness, but I don't feel it affects my experience with this headset. I was actually interested in buying the 3240 UC, but at that list price, I didn't want to ruin the experience by buying a cheaper refurbished model. Perhaps, I'll invest later in the USB dongle at a later stage. Best way to pair with a laptop is via the dongle.

very good, would buy again
This is a very good unit. I accidentally dropped it in the toilet and it still works pretty well! I think there was a slight difference in the sound quality but its not bad still. The optional charger is good, although you need to charge it every 4-5 days which can get annoying and old quickly. The charger is good because it acts as a case for the headset when it is not in use so you won't loose it. I also have a habit of taking the headset off the charger overnight when I sleep so it doesn't waste the charge on the charger, but I guess some people can argue that the headset will loose charge when it is not charging. It stays well charged overnight though. Features on the headset are pretty straight forward. If you accidentally drop the head set, it will stop playing what you are listening to, (unless you are on the phone). You just start the music or podcast or whatever you are listening to and continue. There are other cool features with the headset you'll like. It's a good buy. Wait for the sales, and buy it then. Normal price right now is around $100.

Love the features and sound quality!
I've tried other brands, including Bose, but Plantronics headsets have always had better sound quality. When I misplaced my Plantronics Edge headset after 2.5 years of use, I chose this 3240. Great sound quality, super easy to pair. I love the voice command hands-free features of the headset. It announces incoming calls by caller name, and I can just say "answer" or "ignore". I can also activate Siri by voice command. I don't use the optional ear loop, as I've never had any trouble with the headset staying in place in my ear. Very comfortable, and unbeatable features. 6 hour talk time on a full charge, with up to 10 hours of additional time stored in the included portable charger. This time, I downloaded the Plantronics Hub app, with its "find my headset" feature, so I can hang on to this one!

This is an excellent hands-free bluetooth earpiece
If you're reading this, you are probably replacing a broken, lost, or otherwise out-of-service bluetooth earpiece. I've owned quite a few over the years. I had to replace my trusty old Jawbone, and they don't make it any more. I read the specs and reviews, and gambled on this Plantronics Voyager. After a couple of weeks of use, I can honestly say it is the best bluetooth earpiece I've ever owned. It's very comfortable and stays put in your ear. It has great sound quality, both talk and listen. It gives a true 6 hours of talk time, recharges quickly, and comes with its own portable recharger (in case you have a "I gotta talk" emergency). Buy it. You'll love it.

Great BT Headset
I recently bought this headset after going to Plantations web site to request for a replacement for my Voyager 5200 which had problem of BT disconnecting from time to time. I bought the 5200 because I lost the previous Voyage Edge which I like very much except the call quality can use a little improvement in a windy or noisy environment. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the call quality of the 5200. It consistently performs well even in windy and noisy condition, and the person on the other end wouldn't even know that I was in that kind of environment. However, I didn't like the fitting of the 5200 compare to Edge and have always wish the same level of performance from 5200 can be employed in Edge style headset. Finally, I am very happy to find the latest 3200 is exactly that. The new 3200 audio quality performs wonderfully and has the in-ear style fitting that is easier for people like me who wears glasses. Though I wish Plantations would improve the ear piece with soft gel type material for long term wearing.
