Do these lights return to the same colour/ brightness settings following power off. I.e controlling on off state with standard light switches?

Yes the colour and mode of the lights will stay on the same / have the same settings that they were when you turned the light switch off .... I have my lights approximately 20 and they are all set as different Colours and only change when I change them in the settings in the app .... you do not have to keep resetting colours every time you turn your light on .

Can you control the lights by another way such as led control panel instead
