I dove into Robin Landa’s latest book looking for a toolkit, what I got was an ethos. It’s not unusual for creatives to espouse the value of humanism but Landa pushes and interrogates the discipline, exploring compassion as a brand value and empathy as a creative superpower. Strategic Creativity is loaded with insights. It's about finding inspiration, effective communication and forging the meaningful connections that are essential to great design and compelling brand storytelling. Landa has crafted an essential guidebook for data mining the zeitgeist and translating the moment into actionable strategy. Invaluable insights!
Strategic Creativity is one of those books that no matter where you open it, you’ll find creative insights that you can use in your everyday. I found myself making notes throughout the entire read. Robin’s writing and way of storytelling are engaging and easy to follow. It all just makes sense and will have you asking yourself, as well as others, all the right questions. It’s an ace in your back pocket when dealing with creative teams. Strategic Creativity will have you zeroing in on the 'WHY' and should be in every execs toolbox.

A must-read!
Robin Landa was able to demonstrate just how important it is for a brand to own who they truly are, create content that is new but shows that they took time to learn about their market, and understand that people grow and evolve which means a brand has to grow as well. Even as a designer, I find this book to be extremely valuable because I can contribute to the growth of a company more than just making something look good. This book is just fascinating.
