I bought this bottle because I knew I wouldn't run out quickly and I have a lot of vinyl. I tossed the record cleaning solution that came with a kit (4oz) and used this instead. Perfect. I wet the velvet brush throughly (brush was from an unrelated cleaning kit) and held light pressure onto the surface of the vinyl record going against the grain. This wet clean is effective, simple but take your time. You want to get into the grooves and air dry. I had no problems or issues, just great Sounding records, even on new vinyl. You will be surprised at how much better the records sound....two thumbs up...

I really like this cleaner spray! I used it on a 50 year old record, and it looks great! It also works well on CDs. I just take the cloth it comes with, spray some cleaner on it, and wipe the record or CD with it gently. Very easy to use. I am glad I bought this!

Sprayed it directly on a pair of Serato control vinyls which I've done with several other vinyl cleaners without issue. This one left the mark after it was left to dry. I didn't like spray anymore then i usually do? Just a couple times to the Control Vinyl for a deep clean, I'd suggest putting it on your Velvet brush first before using it to clean. Maybe it's a little harsher I don't know but it shouldn't have left a spot where it was sprayed. I've had several other vinyl cleaners that never did this. But just to be safe don't spray directly on your vinyl & use a brush or microfiber cloth instead. I've been cleaning records for 20 years i have a large vinyl collection, i was using this to clean my Serato Control vinyls but Vinyl is Vinyl. That said it's probably on me but this is a first both for Control vinyl or various Wax. I'm sure it's fine for basic cleaning again as long as you spray it on a brush or cloth 1st. Good luck!

Works well. I have bought this twice. I’ve been using it to clean my record collection, which has been stored in the basement and not played for many years. I’m cleaning all the records - hundreds - and now enjoying listening to vinyl once again.

Very happy with this product. There were a bunch of options for record cleaning solution on Amazon. I believe this was one of the least expensive options. Happy I got it. Works well. My records are shining again. The micro fiber cloth it comes with is small, but sufficient. But I recommend purchasing a pack of extra large micro fiber cloths with this. I got a 4 pack of big ones on Amazon for $10. I use one to rest the record on (it's that large of a cloth) and the other I wet with this product. Wipe with the wet side from the center to the edge and back. Then repeat with the dry side of the cloth. Following the grooves of the vinyl of course. Perfection!

My girlfriend bought me the Record Happy cleaning kit as a gift and it came with a small bottle of this cleaning solution and it worked wonderfully so I knew I needed the bigger bottle. For the price you can't got wrong, this 6.7 oz bottle will go a long way. I have some old records I acquired that were really beat up and did not sound well at all, after spraying some of this on and using the cleaning kit as well as the microfiber cloth they now sound as good as new! Obviously if there is a deep scratch this won't help but for static and surface dirt and oils this really does the trick. I also highly recommend the Record Happy Premium Maintenance kit that sells for around $30. it is a must for any vinyl enthusiast, you will not be disappointed!
