RFX 15 Green Dot Sight

I am absolutely blown away by the Viridian RFX15. This is, without a doubt, a 5-star product. I picked it up specifically for my Springfield Hellcat, and the fit is absolutely flawless. The low-profile design and perfect co-witness with the factory sights make this a game-changer for my EDC setup. Mounting was incredibly easy right out of the box. It feels solid and durable, and the sight has held zero perfectly through hundreds of rounds. The green dot is incredibly crisp and easy to pick up in all lighting conditions, from bright sunlight to low light at the indoor range. The features are simple and effective. The INSTANT-ON™ feature means it's ready to go the second I draw, which is a huge confidence booster. The controls are intuitive, and I didn't need to spend a lot of time fumbling with it to get it sighted in. If you're looking for a red dot for your EDC, stop searching and get the Viridian RFX15. it has completely changed my shooting experience for the better. This is an essential upgrade that delivers on every promise.

Mounted on a Keltec P57. Beautiful sight picture and sense of quality (machined aluminum). Packaging and accessories gave a professional feel. Had to test-feel all screws that came in kit as Keltec did not identify thread size (not Veridian's fault). Working solution with pre-applied blue Loctite found. Sighting in was fast and accurate. Adjustments are sensitive, so 1/8 to 1/4 turns of the adjust screws make meaningful pattern changes. I would recommend to friends and am actually considering buying additional sights for other pistols. Note: Other reviewers and my buddy's dad noted there is no waterproof gasket between the sight housing and whatever mounting plate it sits on. This could be a concern if you routinely shoot in heavy rain or are fitting to a receiver that in not fully flat because the battery is on the bottom of the housing. You can make a gasket, but I assume Veridian will remedy this with an add-on.

Works great, love the auto on feature and green reticle with adjustable brightness. Aluminum housing holds up well to daily use and holds zero after being easily adjusted with with the included tools. Overall this was a good option for the price and because I wanted green over a red reticle.

The RFX15 is by far the best red dot I've found for astigmatism, providing a much sharper and more defined reticle than anything else I’ve used. The clarity is impressive, making it a standout choice for those who struggle with blurry or distorted dots. (However, astigmatism affects people differently) That said, the fitment was a bit unusual. Mounted on my Sig P365 AXG Legion with a Shield RMSc footprint, I found the sight to be slightly too long—about a millimeter off. This required me to carefully tap it into place using a rubber mallet. Fortunately, it seated securely without any damage, but this is something to be aware of for those with similar setups. A couple of minor drawbacks: the base is exposed, which feels like an odd design choice. While it sits flush with the firearm and likely won’t cause issues, a covered base to further protect the battery would have been preferable. Additionally, the detailed instructions are only available online, which is frustrating. A simple extra page in the packaging to explain key adjustments, such as the auto-on/off function, would have been a small but meaningful improvement. Despite these quirks, this dot remains an excellent sight at a competitive price point. It features a larger window than most micro red dots, making target acquisition easier, and it performs exceptionally well for those with astigmatism. With just a few small refinements, it could be near perfect.

I got these on sale with codes so didn't pay near the MSRP. I had a bunch of range toys I wanted optics for. What I like, they sit super low allowing lower co-witness with standard height sights. Shake awake seems good. The green dot is easy to pick up in bright daylight. Not sure about durability yet, only a few hundred rounds through them each. What I don't care for is how easy the screws stop out with very little tourk. Having to pull the optic to change the battery is going to be an issue I can tell now. The sale price I got it at is where the MSRP should be because the are a straight copy of an existing China Optic made in China not the USA.

Installed on Canik Mete SFX. Excellent green dot brightness and clarity. I love that it co-wittnesses with iron sights. Only drawback is battery placement- have to remove from slide to replace battery, but expect that is required only every couple years based on my frequency of use. Excellent value.
