Overall, I am very happy with this bug spray. Growing up in the city, I never had to use bug spray before and it wasn’t until I met my husband who is from the mountains that I started to wear bug spray during certain seasons of the year. They get a TON of bugs up there. My sense of smell is strong that I do get sensitive very quick with strong, not so nice odors and it would keep me from wanting to go outside to avoid using any. First thing that caught my eye was that it says ORGANIC on the bottle. I have been growing more accustomed to organic products so I decided to give this a try as we will be taking a trip to Mexico in the next couple of weeks. You spray on the product and it comes out like a liquidy white cream. It feels very light on the skin and does not leave me looking oily or gross. There are three essential oils used in this product which include lemongrass, citronella and cedar wood. I have to admit when I first sprayed this the scent was sooooo strong that I started coughing. The scent is very nice but for some reason it came off very strong with just three sprays. After a couple of minutes the strength of the scent went away and I have to say I do love the scent. I went outside and was surprisingly impressed with the results. The mosquitoes and other bugs stayed away from me and I didn’t have to freak out hearing that scary buzzing right next to my ear. I was outside for an hour and nothing bothered me. I felt so good being outside and my skin did not get irritated with the spray (I have sensitive skin). I am impressed and as I said, very happy with the results. My husband and niece used it as well and they did not have a scent reaction as I did and they love it.

We live in an area with a lot of mosquitos and other flying pests and summertime is of course the worst time for them. It is also the best time to be outdoors and the flying insects seem to always be lurking around. I have 3 kids and pets so was looking for an insect repellent that was all natural. I can't stand using products with a ton of nasty chemicals in them. I was excited to see that this one is 100% organic, gmo free and natural! It is also deet free and doesn't contain any parabens or phthlalates. The other thing I don't like about most insect repellents is the smell. They have a horrendous odor that you have to smell the entire time you have it on. This one smells absolutely amazing! It has a citrus smell that is pleasant and sweet smelling. Despite the fact that it smells good and is all natural, it works great! We have been outdoors all this week every evening for VBS and BBQs and I have used it nightly on myself and kids. You can spray it directly on the skin, clothing, backpacks, furniture, camp gear, and more and it works to repel pretty much all flying bugs that we normally have to deal with. It has been so nice not having to deal with these pests every day and I am only sad I never knew about this bug repellent sooner. If you are looking for a good one, this is the one for you! It's great for outdoor bbqs, camping, hiking, fishing, hanging out by the camp fire and so much more. We don't have screen doors and this heat has been unbearable. I sprayed it around my doorways and was so pleased to see no bugs inside after leaving the doors open! Great insect repellent!

The product itself works so well! The smell is a little bit strong but it keeps the bugs away so that’s all that matters to me. Our entire camping trip, I was never but and I definitely think this did the trick! However, the bottle seems to leak. The first bottle I was sent to just didn’t work at all. When attempting to press the button to spray nothing came out, instead went down the sides of the bottle making a mess. The company did send me a new bottle and that one worked a lot better so it could have just been a faulty bottle! I have also used their larger jug with handle that sprays and it worked so well! Loved the bottle and ease of using

I recently used this bug spray when I was deep in the woods, pretty far along on a lengthy mountain trail, that was right next to a creek, with lots of muddy bogs around (bug heaven). Mosquitoes that had wingspans of nearly 2 mm (U.S. nickel coin size) were swarming all around me as I sat and had my lunch. However, after I put this spray on, they immediately lost interest. It was amazing, I watched them fly up to my exposed arm, hover for a second, and then fly away as fast as possible when they caught whiff of this exceptionally effective bug spray. This is a great product, reasonably priced, not at all oily, uses ethical ingredients, and the spray actually smells good, unlike most bug repellent products. I will definitely be buying this again in the future.

This works and smells great. It even kept away those horrible Aedes mosquitoes that are sadistic and very hungry at all times. You can develop a horrible allergy to them called "Skeeter Syndrome" which I got, unfortunately. This stuff could have probably have prevented that had I discovered it earlier. HOWEVER...I have bought the product 2 or 3 times the last few years and EVERY time, the pump malfunctioned. Either nothing comes out or it dribbles. As others have stated, it also seems to be leaking from somewhere around the pump. Great product, cheap packaging. You'll have to decide if you'd like to purchase based on that.

Okay. I wanted to love this product. However, things didn’t work out that way..... I bought this for my trip to Hawaii to avoid using a lot of harmful and noxious smelling chemicals (bullfrog!?). But wish I just doused my limbs in citronella. We got off to a bad start. The bottle leaked from the top ring just by slightly squeezing it and it scented my luggage even though I packed it in two zip locks. I kept the leaky bottle inside the bags in the cup holder and the smell permeated the cabin. But that didn’t bug me-it smells like lemongrass and added a nice scent to our stinky rental car. I sprayed some on my legs and arms before a hike. In our group of 5-there were 7 bug bites. All 7 bug bites decorated my legs. And I would say that I got at least 5 of them within 10 minutes of walking away from the car. I don’t wear perfume or lotion, and everyone else skipped applying any spray. I might as well have sprayed myself with bug pheromones. So I don’t know if my natural odor is like catnip to bugs or if I had just sprayed some on.

This is the perfect bug repellent if you do not like harsh chemicals. Everything about this is organic, even the packaging is a 100% recycled container. I am not an “outdoors person” that spends hours hiking or playing frisbee in the park, however, I do have an extensive garden in which I spend several hours a day in. I followed direction and reapplied after about 3 hours even though I did not really feel I needed to. Even working with water and sweating, I could still smell the bug repellent. The smell is a very pleasing lemony scent, not a harsh chemical smell. Because it is made from Citronella oil, Lemongrass Oil, and Cedarwood oil, it is pet friendly. I sprayed my dogs with it and they didn’t carry on like I just sprayed them with mace like they have with more common brands like OFF! There is no greasy after feeling on me and no goo left on their fur. The bottle size is perfect for fitting in my tiny little “festival bag” I have. There is a wide clear spray so that it covers a large area at once and you are not pumping a billion times to cover your leg, but at the same time you are not providing free bug spray to the strange guy sitting next to you at the outdoor concert. I am looking to a bug free summer using this spray!

As a mom of boys with sensitive skin... I'm always looking for hypoallergenic products. The hardest thing to find in that realm is not just bug spray but bug spray that works. We've tried so many brands and haven't had too much success there. Thankfully....this one works and works well. Not only is it hypoallergenic but it's organic as well...so you can take comfort in knowing you aren't spraying you kids or yourself down with a chemical laden product. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that this doesn't smell like bug spray. It smells like no other bug spray I've ever used. It smells like lemon. It's just a crisp fresh scent that isn't overpowering and very subtle. It sprays on and rubs in very well and doesn't leave you with that sticky residue coating most other bug sprays leave. Our winter here was very very mild so we have mosquitos out the wazoo...but thankfully this product works and we aren't having to deal with those bloodsucking skeeters anymore. Would I repurchase this? YES Would I recommend? YES
