Salon quality nails at home - this application is user friendly yet will still require some technical work and tips to get the application consistent. This kit really has it all! First of all, it comes beautifully packaged with everything set in foam so it’s kept safe for shipping. Second, it literally just has everything you would need to start using polygel. The instructions were super clear and easy to follow and for my first try, I’m pretty happy with the results! I also want to add some small things that I think are important to know when using this kit. - When you put on the base coat and cure it, if it’s still tacky that is totally normal and fine. It won’t be sticky once you cure the polygel and top coat it. - The kit comes with a file that works great, but I would still recommend a nail drill for a quicker file. Especially if you’re new to it, it’ll probably come out pretty chunky if you aren’t used to how much you need per nail. - The UV light does have a timer in it, you just can’t see it counting down, but it does turn off once the time is up. - The UV light has a USB cord that does not come with the wall adapter, so you will need your own to plug it in. But, yes this kit is great and I highly recommend it. I’ve included a couple pictures of my nails with this so you can see how they’ll look. The clear is only the polygel with top coat and the second picture is what it looks like after I polished them. I feel like I went to the salon and got them done!

The poly gel is very easy to use, though I found it better to wipe the excess slip solution from the top or sides rather than dipping the brush in, as even if I wipe the excess or the brush, it can still be too much and make the gel too sticky. I have yet to try all the colors in this kit but the pink nude poly gel is definitely my favorite one I've tried so far I normally stay away from color and do cleat or white and paint over it senses all previous colors I've tried are too pink and the nude colors look either too ashy or too dark or just some combination of the two on my skin tone but this one is the exact color of my nails when when I squeeze it and th fingers get flushed I've been looking for that color as I've it makes the perfect nude I got this set because I thought this color would work and I was not at all disappointed with the shade☺️ ❕❕ I did notice that the seal on the slip solution containers was open, and two of the poly gel ones were missing when I first opened the box. I'm not going to bother returning it since it seems to be all still full, though. Thankfully the slip solution didn't spill ❕❕ Overall it's a great kit I really love the small light as well I put nail clips on to keep the nail form down and while I'd like to cure it all at once I can't fit my full hand into my big light like that and I've always felt like doing it One at a time in that one exposes my too much more UV light than necessary so I really enjoyed it.

I am so impressed with this kit and how my nails turned out!!!! They look natural, seem durable, and somewhat flexible. I hate thick, fake looking nails and these couldn’t be farther from it!! The kit is beautifully packaged and of great quality. I’ve never used poly gel before but after the second nail I had the hang of it. First time took me about 45 mins start to finish. This is the light pink (I am in love with these natural colors). *Would recommend having the little single UV light for applying each nail (The clips didn’t work for me…I just turned the light on and pressed each nail on underneath the light and held there for 10 secs until it could hold, then continued under light until fully cured [30-60secs], and then a larger UV light (purchase separately) to cure all nails at one time for base and top coats to save time). *Be careful not to press nail on right against cuticle because when you press it spreads. *Once cured, you can shape as needed, then wash with water, dry, and then when you apply the top coat all of the dry areas that you filed will look shiny again. *Knowing now that I will continue to use this kit to do my own nails, I have ordered an electric file (like a nail dremmel) to clean up excess underneath nails once cured. Massage oil into cuticles and enjoy gorgeous nails at a fraction of the cost!

So obviously I posted a picture with this review, only to show you I was only able to accomplish one freakin nail before I gave up😤 I did my thumb nail and it looks really good if only I could do the rest of my nails like this! Once I tried moving onto my pointer finger etc, I had to put the poly gel stuff on the fake nail like 3 different times because every time I would go to lay it down on my natural nail, it wouldn’t stay down on it. And you cant push hard or the gel will come out the sides (you can kinda see that at the top of my thumb nail) so then I tried putting it on there and holding it with another finger as I cured it underneath the light long enough to get it to stick but it wouldn’t so after trial and error several times I just put it all away. My hands were so sticky afterwards and it was just a mess; THE SELLERS AND EXPERTS MAKE IT LOOK SO DANG EASY UNTIL ITS TIME FOR A FIRST TIMER TO DO THEIR OWN! 😩😩 Still good product for the moneys worth, I just clearly don’t know what I’m doing lmao

This was an incredibly easy product to use…. if you’ve done acrylic nails before. I did not use the dual forms because I only wanted to do it as an overlay on my natural nails. No extensions. I have flat as a board nails length wise and I have to have some extra support if I want them long. I was previously using their BIAB to do my overlays but I got tired of turning my arms every which way to form the shape. The polygel is the perfect consistency, doesn’t self level too quickly and easily foldable. I also did not use the slip solution. I opted for rubbing alcohol instead because I didn’t want to get a mess of gel all over my cuticles while free sculpting. I’m sure it’s great if you use the forms to help with spread but not for sculpting freehand.

The gel colors that come with this kit are quite beautiful. It comes with almost everything you need. Besides a dremel to grind and buff out the underside of the nail to make it flat. The slip solution to glide the gel flat in the guide to apply to the nail is quite sticky and leaves that type of residue once the nail is complete. Unless you're going for short nails the gel (once hardened with the UV light) still flexes and inevitably tears off. So these are not strong and do not last...at all. Even after doing all the steps to correctly apply every nail. If you're looking into this type of thing, I'd suggest doing more research on different brands.

I love Gaoy products. They package everything so beautifully and their products are simply wonderful. I haven’t tried this particular set yet but I have so many of their products that I’m sure this won’t disappoint! Will update soon!
