Aperta Series Isolation Speaker Stands with Tilt Adjustment: Aperta300 (11.8" x 7.9") Black (Single)

So I get that not everyone is willing to shell out a couple-hundred clams for speaker stands. I debated on it for a month until I gathered enough information to satisfy the low bar of "well... if they don't work well, I guess I can return them". Needless to say I'm extremely happy with biting the bullet and ordering a pair! It one of those things you don't think would make such a difference but my goodness they certainly do... Pros: -Greatly reduced vibration on my desk -Cleaner/clearer sound as they prevent the sound waves bouncing off my desk on the way to my ears -Allows me to aim the tweeters where they need to be pointing -Build quality guarantees that I will own these a life-time and never need to replace them. Cons: -The price almost covers a regular car payment... Thoughts: If you're not a rich person, like most of us, this kind of thing is a luxury item. Is it necessary? -Absolutely not... Is it gift to your ears? 100% It doesn't magically make your speaker better, the quality of your speakers don't magically change. What DOES happen is your speakers are able to transmit the sound to your ears much better without the muddying of the sound that occurs from the resonance of the surface it's attached to and the sound waves bouncing off the surface on it's way to you. It's such a minor things when you think about it but it makes a huge impact. This isn't some marketing crap where they sell you gold plated HDMI 6ft HDMI cables and telling you it improves signal quality. (note: gold connectors can help maintain the quality of analog signals and do nothing for digital signals) Instead, what these stands do is allow the speakers to perform as well as they can, aside from suspending them from the ceiling by wire as done in some professional applications. If you own a decent pair of bookshelf speakers and want them to shine their best, these stands will achieve that. If you want to save that money and make your car payment it will certainly be the wiser decision, but you'll definitely be missing out ;) 4-Stars for the 'Value' because I'm being realistic. It's a great product that performs well but at this price, at the very least you'd think the aluminum would be anodized rather than painted or a taller set of legs would've been included to allow for varying applications as they do with their cheaper but similar products.

My main stereo has floorstanders on spikes so I never used stands before, and never new how insanely important they are. I bought some little Kef LS50's for my computer speakers and while they sounded better than most computer speakers, they were still underwhelming considering all the great things I've heard about the LS50's. The low end was flubby, the mids sounded muddy, and the highs were lacking detail. After adding the Aperta 200 stands it literally sounded like I upgraded the entire system. As others have said, the bass tightened up, the veil was lifted on the mids, and the highs are more crisp. I was on the fence because I thought the price seemed high but I would honestly pay twice as much for such improvements. It's the same level of improvement that I heard on my main stereo system when I upgraded from cheap spooled speaker wire to a nice $2k set of speaker cables, except this upgrade was only $200, not $2000. Before the stands, my whole desk surface would vibrate. That's definitely where the speaker was losing it's clarity, by resonating through the desk. Now that I have the stands there is zero vibration that can be felt on my desktop. These are a MUST for Kef LS50 owners who are using them on a desk or table top. The sound improvement 100% justifies the price tag. UPDATE: I just realized that I actually ordered the Aperta for $199 but received the more expensive Aperta 200. The 200 version is a perfect fit for the LS50's. I don't think I would size down to the regular Aperta. It turned out to be a happy mistake for me.

We recently updated our living room entertainment set-up and we added a large cabinet to house our AV gear and an "upgrade" to a pair of DefTech D9's to replace our previous floor stand speakers was part of the process. I was concerned about unwanted reverb and sound from the speaker sitting directly on the cabinet. After some research, I added some sound deadening to the cabinet and ordered a set of IsoAcoustics Aperta stands to place the D9's on and I couldn't be happier - we've not experienced any unwanted sound using this set-up. :) These stands also add a really nice finishing touch to the set-up and look very, very professional. Everyone that has seen them has commented and asked about them. I've used the foam stands in other locations (office desktop with studio monitors, etc.) and they also work well but they wouldn't have the same professional look. Summary: I am very, very happy with and recommend this product. These are a bit pricey but I think worth the cost in the end based on the performance results and the high-end look they bring the set-up.

Overpriced? Maybe I used these to support my KEF R3 Metas sitting on a glass countertop. It did this for me: 1. Put the KEF coaxial Tweeter-Midrange higher and closer to the OLED screen height. 2. It got the whole speaker off the glass and away from the cabinet edges to reduce refraction. 3. Allowed me to adjust the speaker angles down slightly to hit our seating positions. Before these stands, I had these speakers sitting on foam pads. I don’t know if the isolation improved but overall the sound improved due to the items on my list. Be aware, each stand has four internal posts, two are fixed and two are adjustable. You adjust tilt up/down by placing the adjustable posts as needed.

Good quality and perform very well, excellent stands for bookshelf style speakers

Well my last review did not get published despite me praising this product. So I'm just going to say this is a good product if you want to eliminate unwanted sounds caused by vibrations on your desktop set-up. Go for it.

Ce model est livré monté , ça pèse un certain poids et le produit semble de très bonne facture . La mise en œuvre est très simple , le logo face à vous . Quand à l efficacité elle est belle et bien présente . Le grave est mieux tenu donc les voix en profitent et sont donc plus précisent comme le reste des registres d ailleurs . Très bon point l enceinte ne bouge pas de son support une fois installée même à très fort volume . Bravo ! Seul bémol le prix . Un achat que l on ne peu regretter vu le gain obtenu .
