I cannot recommend Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner enough! This stuff works insanely well with minimal effort, making brush cleaning an absolute breeze. It used to feel like such a chore, but now, it's so quick and easy that I actually clean my brushes regularly—and they’ve never been cleaner! The process is simple: just dip your brush into the solution, let it sit for a moment, then wipe it on a paper towel. Within a few swipes, even the most stubborn makeup is completely gone. It even removes waterproof products, which are usually impossible to get out. No scrubbing, no rinsing—just clean brushes in seconds! One of the best parts is that not only are my brushes instantly clean, but they also dry super quickly. Normally, when I wash my brushes with other cleansers I have to rinse them with water, leaving the brushes soaking wet, which requires me to let them dry overnight. With this cleaner, I can clean my brushes, let them sit while I do my skincare or get dressed, and within 10 minutes or so, they’re nearly dry and ready to use! One thing to note is that it does take a fair amount of solution, especially for larger brushes, since they soak it up quickly. I purchased the 16 oz bottle, which is the second largest size they sell, and have been able to clean my brushes about 4 times so far and feel like I can get another 2-3 out of the bottle. The bottle lasts a decent amount of time, also considering that I have a ridiculous number of makeup brushes, especially large ones. For me, it’s worth every penny to know I’m applying makeup with brushes that are actually clean, not full of bacteria. I’ve really been focusing more on my skincare routine, and using dirty brushes totally contradicts that effort—so this cleaner has been a game changer. In addition to how great they clean, the cleanser makes my brushes so soft after using it and the scent is amazing! Instead of smelling like harsh chemicals, it has a nice vanilla fragrance that makes the whole process even more pleasant. If you want something that works effortlessly and keeps your brushes in top shape, this is 100% worth it!

You don’t have to wait hours for brushes to dry, which makes it perfect when you want to clean them quickly and use them again the same day. Another thing I love is that it doesn’t leave any oily residue behind. My brushes feel soft and smell amazing thanks to the subtle vanilla scent. It gives that “freshly cleaned” feeling every time. The process is also incredibly simple. Just pour, dip and wipe your brush on a towel or cloth. It’s one of the easiest brush cleaning routines I’ve ever used.

This product is easy to use. I love to use it when my brushes need to clean quickly in between uses. It dries extremely fast and cleans well. If you are sensitive to smell or get skin irritation from fragrance, this product does have a vanilla after smell that is left on the brushes. This is my second time repurchasing.

Works absolutely great! I was able to clean my brushes in 5-10 minutes with this product, and it dried very quickly. This saved me so much time, as I didn't have to wait for the brushes to dry when washing with water and soap. It also has a nice aroma. Make sure not to use too much, and only dip your brush 1/4 of the way in because it absorbs it fast and really well. When this runs out, I will definitely be purchasing again!!

My tried and true! Cleans brushes really well, has a light but great smell. No skin irritation after use and love and a must that it dries quickly! I am a professional wedding makeup artist and the turn around time between weddings can be tight so it is great for sanitizing and quickly getting back to work! It's blue but doesn't leave brushes blue ;)

This really does work. The brushes clean easily and quickly. The scent can be a little much but dissipates from brushes quickly. Only complaint is that the product is used up quickly. I feel that this increases the cost for what is already a fairly expensive product.

It is an excellent product. It removed all makeup from my brushes. I do smell a chemical smell. I rinse my brushes in water. They do have a nice smell. However it’s expensive to use in my option. I have a brush makeup machine and it say on bottle to fill a 1/4 cup. Wow there goes the small bottle i bought to try. I did ( not ) put it in the machine full strength but i fill with water then added some cleaner. Nope doesn’t clean, mixed with water . Wasted product. I decided to fill a small bowl with the cleaner and add to the bottom a rubber pad to rub my brushes on. I used One brush, That worked but needed to throw out the dirty cleaner. Brush was cleaned. But again more product. I have a lot of brushes. The larger brushes one at a time, fill with the cleaner each time. . Smaller brushes you can clean more brushes since they don’t get as dirty as big one. As for pouring from the small bottle it’s hard trying to pour a small amount. That could be just me. It does what the seller says but I’m sorry to expensive for me.

The smell is a bit off putting but it definitely gets the job done between washes. The smell doesn’t linger after using. As with any brush cleaner it’s most effective on brushes used for powders. It’s so-so with liquid makeup, not so great with creams/wax based products. That applies to every brush cleaner I’ve used so I don’t consider it a strike against the product. Will absolutely keep on hand at all times.

Great for on set makeup artists! Ben Nye had one but it was discontinued years ago. This is amazing. Dip in solvent and blot gently to clean bristles, then shake it out to dry it thoroughly. Must have for kit!!

Product arrived half spilled and it wasn't secured probably…. Waste of money and i cant apply for a replacement or refund either..

This brush cleaner is by far the best on the market, it’s a little bit pricey but it’s absolutely worth it. I used to work as a makeup artist and I’ve used so many different brush cleaners over the years. This brush cleaner works very quickly, cleans brushes thoroughly (as thoroughly as washing with soap and a brush shampoo), it dries incredibly quickly, and it smells great. This is a cult classic for a very good reason.
