Well, this is exactly what it says it is. It's a replacement / second cylinder for use in a soda stream. As a Soda stream owner, you really need 2 canisters. One for in the machine and another to put in when it runs out. You can then get it replaced at the local exchange with a £10 refund. This comes boxed with a sealed gas cylinder inside. Good quality and value for what it does. Definitely well recommended and good value if bought on a monthly delivery. It looks presentable in the soda stream liveried covering. It provides plenty of fizz and the gas itself is plastic free, obviously. You do save a lot of plastic waste by using a soda stream. The size is standard, making 60 litres of fizzy pop. Flavours available also taste good when used with this gas.

Excellent as initial purchase - this is a spare for when other cylinder needs to be exchanged.

The Quick Connect system really does make things easier, it clicks in instantly with no twisting or fiddling around. Each cylinder lasts me a good amount of time, close to the advertised 60 litres, depending on how fizzy I make my drinks. I also like that using them means I’m cutting down on plastic bottles, since I’m making sparkling water at home instead of buying it. If you like really strong carbonation, you might go through them a bit faster, but that’s expected. Overall, they’re reliable, easy to use, and worth it if you use your SodaStream regularly.
