I use it to test ph and chlorine.

Tested our water and the cl side created orange bubbles when drops were added? Why would it not mix in like the ph side?

Never seen this happen. The OTO reacted with something in the pool. Was the pH way off? Try testing your tap water with OTO. If it's chlorinated, you should see a light color change and no bubbles. regardless, I would check with a pool maintenance shop.

Does it test Cya levels in the pool?

No, you need a good test strip or pool supply store to test your water.

How can tests can be ran with this kit?

Easily. Dunk the apparatus down into the pool water and fill both sides. Pour a few drops from each side then add 5 drops chlorine reagent to the left side then 5 drops ph reagent to the right side. Cover the openings with the provided caps, mix, then compare colors of the water to the colors on the container.
