Loving my Samsung sound bar. The Samsung TV I have has great picture but the sound was sub-par so a friend recommend this soundboard. Easy to install. My only negative is, there seems to be a slight delay. Kind of annoying. Any suggestions on how to connect this? Help!

This soundbar is a nice addition to my Samsung U8000F Smart TV. This soundbar adds to the sound of the TV and when you choose Q Symphony you can use it in conjuction with your TV speakers so that they're not just setting idle. Or you can choose the DTS setting and give the soundbar full responsibility. This soundbar comes with its on remote with which you can set the tone. I set the tone on mine to BASS. Remember, this soundbar has the bass speakers built-in so there is no separate subwoofer. Obviously the bass is not as booming as a separate subwoofer would provide but the soundbar serves the purpose that I bought it for which is to give fuller sound. I bought mine on sale and got a very good deal so there's good value. The soundbar is easy to set up. Just connect it to the HDMI eARC port. Use the other HDMI ports on the TV for a DVD player or VCR and not the HDMI eARC port. I can't testify to the Bluetooth connectivy capabilities of this soundbar since mine is directly connected to my TV set. The soundbar does come with some hangers although I simply sat on soundbar on top of my TV stand in front of my TV. At 26 and three eighth inches it sits between the TVs feet. This unit is corded and does not requires charging. The unit has good weight to it and is a sturdy build. I recommend this soundbar if you want a fuller sound from your TV. If you are looking for a soundbar with lots of booming base, you should get one with a separate subwoofer.

Added this sound bar, tried a cheaper one, didn't help. It does have good sound, added to a new 43" Samsung TV which had no real volume. Being that the sound bar was Samsung it connected very easily to the Samsung TV, no issues, just plug it in and it worked. The sound is rich and fuller than the TV speakers. The volume and power controls worked with Amazon fire stick controller, which was a plus. For the price point, it is a nice sound bar. The sound bar does have everything needed to mount, and connect via ARC port.

This turned out to be a great buy for my PC setup. The sound quality is exactly what I expect from a Samsung audio product. I’m running it through an optical cable, and games sound fantastic, clear voices, detailed effects, and a surprisingly immersive feel with Dolby, DTS, and the 3D audio modes. I switched from a cheaper brand using Bluetooth which is stereo only. For something with small bass drivers, the low end is better than I expected. It fills out the sound nicely without distortion. One of the main reasons I bought this model was the length, and it fits perfectly on my monitor stand under a 34" ultrawide. It doesn’t block the screen, and it doesn’t look oversized or cramped. The build feels solid, and the controls are straightforward. The only minor annoyance is that when it auto‑powers off, I have to switch it back to the optical input when turning it on again. It might just be a setting I haven’t adjusted yet, so not a dealbreaker. Overall, great sound, clean design, and a perfect fit for a wide monitor setup. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

I bought this product because I have a Samsung TV. I figured that compatibility was assured and that, because the TV is excellent, perhaps Samsung would also produce a good sound bar. This was not the case. The pairing was not an issue, except that one must open an account with Samsung and cookies are forced upon one immediately. More importantly, once up and running I found the sound quality wanting. I used this sound bar for almost three weeks, and made repeated efforts to adjust the sound to my liking, but was never successful. The "EQ" adjustment comes in the fashion of modes, none of which were to my liking-each mode does effect the sound, but in no satisfactory manner. One evening after attempting to adjust the sound quality, again, the speaker disconnected itself from the TV sound and began to play a preset song at a very loud volume. I attempted to turn down the sound with no effect. I attempted to turn off the speaker with no effect-the remote was not operating. I turned off everything I could, still with no results. I finally pulled the plug on my entire system, half expecting the this TV possession would continue. This event was so stressful that I removed the sound bar from it perch, salvaged the boxes in which it came, and sent it back to Amazon.

solid sound, easy to connect, and to control. However, I am returning it due to one major flaw. The sound bar shuts off after 18 minutes of inactivity (movie paused, muted), even while the television is still on. Turns out this is a known issue baked into the firmware with no workaround. I am connected to a Samsung television via HDMI arc, so it should be the ideal conditions for the sound bar to function. Anynet+ with HDMI CEC is enabled as well, and I have spent an extensive amount of time troubleshooting. Having to turn the sound bar back on manually rather than just hit resume on the television remote is an unfortunate dealbreaker, and a major design flaw. It’s unfortunate too, because the sound bar offers a great audio experience for the price. why anyone would permanently force an 18 minute timer to auto shut off on a sound bar is beyond me.

The soundbar was easy to install. The sound is a little better than without it. The controls and setup are very inconvenient.
