Yes, it does and keeps it in place so they don't slip. Got these for my husband and he uses them everyday and they have held up well.

i wear size 6 on men's shoes, would it be too big for my feets?

Should fit fine. I wear an 8 and they are tight on my feet.

Do these work in dress shoes or sneakers or are they too low?

They are too low for dress shoes and not sturdy enough for running shoes but in sneakers warn casually they should be all right in my opinion.
